No one is patterning their game after Wizards MJ

IMO it only works if you have elite wiggle and are extremely crafty like Harden, Luka and Trae. Like for example, I think Steph could do it but he chooses not to incorporate it into his game.
Where do you think Trae young learned the jumping back into a defender on the midrange shot from? Not from harden...

The league was trending that way with or without Steph. The Nash suns pushed it that way
There was still a lot more pushback and reluctance from other teams to buy into that style since PHO never won anything.

GSW dominated so it was much easier for the league to fall in line with that style.

Not sure if/when the League would have ended up HERE had Steph not come along.

But yes, those Suns team did spark things. I am not taking THAT away from them.

Do you guys think Zion is overweight/ out of shape?

have this debate with the homies all the time.

I just think he’s something we seen before and he’s going to carry this weight fine.

Him at his weight won’t work for longevity. He’s still a kid, so he’s a bit more durable than he’d be in say 5 years.

Iverson influenced how some players played.
Steph influenced how the entire LEAGUE plays.

Teams are attempting 35+ 3's per game because of HIS influence.

I don't think it is close to be honest.
Nah. That’s the Rockets when it comes to the sheer volume of 3s.

there's no way you watched Kobe retire, then ultimately pass... hear all the countless players stories about him & their admiration & come off with nah he wasn't that influential  . **** ain't even worth a discussion

Does influential = beloved?

We need to define the word influential because a lot of people seem to have different criteria and that's where the disconnect is.
