too bad for Russ, Basketball is a Team Sport and not one on one. wrong career choice?Russ is the better individual player than Klay. But if we're talking teammate? I gotta go with Klay.

Man was out there terrorizing those folks for absolutely no reason
Didn't let Nike confiscate this tape, though
There is a stark difference between showing love for Steph this season and other players doing the same. Steph has put up eerily astounding numbers that led to wins, an MVP and a final appearance.the change in attitude for putting up astounding numbers on a mediocre team has sure changed in here throughout the years

It’s hard to say he’s looting when he did the same on a championship caliber team.
Mans saw JJ Barea in every one of them folks and just went OFF.
Did they give Bron a bad pineapple cake or something? Ole boy was extra hostile to them dudes

Not even trying to deflect or be obtuse but can you please point out the specific seasons where generational talents with trash/depleted rosters had similar numbers to Steph this year?Nobody's claiming he's looting.... what he did in prior seasons with has nothing to do with the results he has this season with this team.
Celebrate all you want i've just noticed how this is being discussed versus other generational talents who had trash/depleted rosters for a season. It wasn't getting the same call of appreciation in here, but that happens often depending on the players being discussed.
When Kobe was doing his thug thizzle back in the mid 00s...it was respected. Nobody is watching 62 in 3 quarters or 81 and acting like it ain’t special. You be hearing what you want to hear.
Same with Russ. He’s the worst mvp ever, and got a lot of sympathy. But he was deserving in 2017.
Stop doing your straw man thing my guy . It’s sad at this point.
trynafeelmink mad annoying b
Straw man?? i'm pretty sure i was on NT under my past SN while Kobe was in the midst of doing that & seeing a lot of non appreciation.
I quite vividly remember Russ's MVP year people arguing that he was costing the team wins to get triple doubles (in reality they were winning at an above 70% clip when he got one)
Pretty Sure the Second AD demanded a trade people questioned his value to winning as well
If you want to cheer for public enemy #1 be my guest he's balling out.... but let's not act as if there aren't people who have knocked other great MVP tier guys for putting up numbers on mediocre teams

The Russ stuff was he was stat hunting (which he was). And a close look at the numbers revealed the insane triple double numbers and wins came against the bottom half of the league.

I find it really hard to believe people were not impressed by 81 points or 62 points or Kobe averaging 35ppg, and going on the crazy binge. I remember the SI covers etc. **** was wild then.
And as impressive as that was....Steve Nash still had an argument for mvp. That didn’t mean Kobe wasn’t appreciated. Same with Russ.
in 2017, I’d have gone with Harden or Kawhi as mvp. But Russ was deserving...no matter how much I saw through it.
Bruh the fact that someone went through each individual triple double he had that season to see the records of the teams he played in order to discr........

Traffic too...When I had to go in the office for my ATL job, ppl would stay late and relax till after 7 or 8 ....It was a couple times I stayed just to finish up whatever show I was watching for that day instead of being in rush hourAlso, some people don't mind staying late at work because they don't feel like being around/dealing with the person(s) that they live with.

Whenever anyone adds nuance to Russell’s raw numbers it’s considered hate. Nah my dude, it’s called thorough analysis and most of the time it illustrates that there is more than meets the eye besides triple doubles and wins and losses.
What is truly amazing about Russ Stans is that what they classify as “hate” is simply folks using data that shows he’s not all that they’re making him out to be.
If he was dominating against good teams, you’d have no problem with touring the records of the teams he had triple doubles against. If his numbers led to winning, you’d have no problem discussing his team’s W-L record. If his team’s offensive rating was better with him on the court than when he’s off it, you’d gladly bring it up.
Folks are spitting cold, hard facts and because it disproves your argument doesn’t mean it’s hate or OD.
