From his perspective, I bet he's super nova hot... 2 consecutive CLs, league title last year, & 2 consecutive BdOs... In his mind he's more than delivered (which he has).

Also Ronnie's camp is alleging perez promised a new contract & perez is allegedly reneging on that promise.

Inaki needs step up when it comes to finishing, w/e training Sterling went through he needs that.

This might be the one time to call CR7's bluff.

He's 32 and not having a stellar season at all. Yes he's a RM legend and top 2 in the world on his best day but eventually you gotta take a stand right?

He's not getting a new contract, for whatever plan they have going forward it doesn't make sense for it to happen.

The apparent holdup is regarding Raiola trying to squeeze out the best possible terms out of the Gunners for Mkhi. Also been reported that United might have to pay off his remaining contract so that Arsenal can try to match his wages.

All in all from most accounts it does seem like the deals are in their latter stages...still can't believe that it's being reported as a legit swap. Haven't seen an actual straight swap transfer in ages and I wouldn't exactly say that both players are equal skill and value wise...

Getting a player in return is still a way better outcome for Wenger then just overall losing Alexis for nothing this summer which would be the only alternative right now

Speaking of the annual Ron silly season mess...

Not falling for it this time, makes no sense either with Alexis supposedly being on the way

200m for dude is also crazy steep at his age

Dortmund could probably get the most out of Michy.

I don't wanna replace him with Andy Carroll of all people though.

Chelsea seem to be on this English player pride thing lately. I can understand Drinkwater because he played with Kante. Barkley is inconsistent and an underachiever but talented.

But Andy Carroll bruh? I don't see it.

Who the hell is in charge of the transfers at the club? It's not hard to understand Conte's frustration after you guys have spent so much for so little and now the club seems hellbent on getting that English quota high

I'm sure Conte himself could find some Serie A gems better than the likes of those you mentioned...

Honestly the board has a lot of control on what's going on. Abramovich isn't opening the wallet up like in the past which isn't always a bad thing but the targets they've settled on is confusing. I don't think Conte ever wanted Batshuayi or Zappacosta but at least Zappacosta has shown some worth. There have been talks of targeting Alex Telles and Alex Sandro but as per usual the cheaper alternative is mentioned soon after in Palmieri (who I never seen play so that doesn't mean he isn't talented).

It seems like a mix of penny pinching and Roman letting his advisors control everything once again.

so united is ronnie's side chick
is this reliable?

great read by sid lowe on dinho
One Real Madrid director claimed that Madrid hadn’t signed him because he was “too ugly” and would “sink” them as a brand. “Thanks to Beckham, everyone wants to shag us,” he said. He, too, was wrong: everyone wanted to embrace Ronaldinho, enjoy him. The long, Soul Glo hair, the goofy grin, that surfer’s “wave”, thumb and little finger waggling – a gesture so his, so symbolic of Barcelona’s revival that is was fashioned from foam and sold in the club shop

That's gotta be annoying being out of the loop when it comes to strengthening the squad,Roman is like the footy Jerry Jones. Micromanaging his club often and having power struggles with your managers/coaches. Can't be an easy environment for managers,no wonder dude has been on edge lately
