Bielsa is officially out

Lilles season has been a disaster,I read that if they dont come up with a certain amount of funds fast they'll be penalized and relegated to Ligue 2. Making the situation all the worse is that Bielsa is asking for a full payout of 9.5m :lol:

It was good just a few years ago for Lille when they had Hazard and won the league. :{

shout out to the birthday boy :hat

Reports are popping up that Barca & Sergi Roberto have come to terms & are in the final stages of an extension. :smokin

I agree with this whole heartedly. I'd rather the club get Lyon's Houssem Aouar & RB Leipzig CB Upanecano...

Going to be flipping between these two
Sevilla vs Levante

AS Monaco vs Saint Etienne

We won't be competitive until wenger leaves if he ever does and until we buy for the positions that are actually needed. The Sven and raul appointments are positive but they need time to do their thing. We need at least one quality CB so we don't have a full back partnering Koscielny, maybe even two since kos is aging and if rob or chambers can't make a case (bob holding needs more minutes). A DM for the longest to protect our backline since we're panicky there; a #8 to compete against ramsey and can properly distribute from deep, and basically two quality attackers for our flanks. Needless to say we need a ton of work done and we'll continue to flounder with Wenger selecting players out of their positions and players who should be on the bench.

Wenger is only a small part of the problem. The root cause is kroenke. He's content with turning a profit. There is nothing on his ownership resume between the niffle rams & Denver Nuggets to suggest that he's committed to winning & competing for championships.

Arsenal are pretty much doomed as long as kroenke is the majority owner... Gooners deserve better. Sadly the sum of the last several years is what you can expect to see from the club.

I absolutely agree that kroenke is the root of it but theres nothing the supporters and even the board can do about it, hes the majority holder and we're stuck with him until hes dead, and even then, his son will be in line to take over. the sven/raul appointments show that we want to buy low and sale high and continue to turn the profit hes content with.

BUT you cant say wenger is only a small part when i feel its much greater than that. sure, he certainly is not getting the full backing of the owner and the investment in the squad that he needs to compete against citeh, chelski, totnum, mu but he continuously makes puzzling tactical and positional decisions that has cost us points where we could of possibly avoided such disaster. Not starting laca in big matches against the likes of citeh who immediately made a difference when coming on, continuously selecting xhaka when he has been in poor form this year (i believe xhaka is a quality player surrounded by make shift pieces tho but needs to be benched to regain focus), playing monreal, a fullback next to kos in a back 4 (he can only work in a back 3), not properly rotating players like kos who is clearly carrying a damaged achilles and starting the lad 3 times in a week, playing young prospects as seen this last match in maitland-niles who plays CM in our youth ranks as a Left back, reiss nelson an cam/winger as a wingback, and on and on. Wenger has set up the squad to fail at times and the players have let themselves down as well with poor displays consistently. the manager and players deserve almost as much blame as kroenke imho. Wenger is a legend and deserves a ton of respect when he does leave but his time has been up, #wengerout #kroenkeout

Pep Guardiola says he never sends out his players with instructions to foul after Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho accused his side of "tactical fouls."

Mourinho made the comments ahead of the Manchester derby on Sunday, which Manchester City won 2-1, committing 10 fouls to United's 16 and picking up two fewer yellow cards than United's four.

Oh Bielsa :lol
There's always some issue. I enjoy watching his teams. Some of the players he got this summer made things sound promising but he also gutted the squad at the same time. He's never a long term solution for a club
