Easy to say in hindsight but Emery should've probably taken Neymar off. It was an accident but there's been tons of fouls and challenges in this Classique and his trickster playstyle tends puts a big target on his back

LAFC filled up their away section.

Impressive tbh

I’m gonna be honest. Idk how he got injured. Doesn’t look bad to me on the replay. His sisters birthday coming up?

Bruh I say this with complete concern for Neymar and sadness at the prospect of it

But the way Neymar's reaction and the injury looked, I really hope it wasn't an Achilles

Yeah his reaction was terrible.

That roll :smh: Really hope it's a simple rolled ankle and no ligaments were damaged.

Well I hope it isn't serious. If it is **** the CL and League. Get well and ready to go for the WC

What did Griez do

What did griez do? Didn’t know he was racist
I’m willing to think the culture vulture might not have known any better but in a way, that makes it kinda worse. His apology afterwards was very poor too. Kinda a non apology really.

I think Griez is dumb, ignorant, and for his crappy apology insensitive

But you're holding a dude who's rocking a 70s fro, to a 1980s party, and probably hasn't received much formal education past lower grades to too high of a standard in understanding history and culture. I leave the verdict up to his black French teammates, who know him better than any of us. If the WC rolls around and the only cat's ig he's popping up on is Giroud's then I'll reevaluate my opinion.

France has a history of racism towards Africans and other people's. That's nothing new. He knows that **** is wrong. He just doesn't care. Ignorance in this day and age is just a convenient excuse to not hold people accountable.

Idk man this dude left France for a country that doesn't even speak the same language when he was like 13-14 or something. I could be wrong but I doubt he got much of an education outside of soccer once he moved.

I also agree with psk that dude's a culture vulture, insensitive, and stupid. Imo his lack of empathy after being called out exposed him as a vulture. But is he a cat that looks down on black people and/or believes white people are superior? I'm not going to say that, and I'm fairly quick to call folks in this current sociopolitical climate a racist when I see the signs and recognize the dog whistles.

Is it possible he's also a racist? Sure. But imo all he's explicitly shown is he's an idiot. Everyone is free to their own opinion though.

Agree on the culture vulture statement. He trolls on IG all the time. Haven’t heard his apology but i don’t think he’s full blown racist. Not until those around him call him out on it. He is around enough black teammates to know better tho.

I think he's coming from a place of stupidity rather than hatred.

But that doesn't mean he shouldn't be held accountable.
