Scaloni is far from a master tactician. The truth is that he learned how to be a manager on the job since he won the position in a war of attrition after the fall out of the 2018 World Cup.

That said, we seem to have a group of players that are united and focused on ending the drought. I will also give Scaloni credit in discovering Guido Rodriguez and propelling players like Rodrigo De Paul and Nicolas Gonzalez. I wouldn't say he was that bad. He had some moments where you can say this is why they signed him. However, he needs time to acclimate to the prems pace of football. Especially for being a midfielder. I'm certain once the squad starts to gel with these new signings, he's going to ball.
