It’s all hearsay at this point, and the one guy that I do know whose wife works for the team has gone dark. Not one word.

But yeah, if they’re suspending him for a year, it must have been really egregious. Rumors on twitter suggest that he slept with more than one female staff member, and that one of them happened to be married to the VP of Finance.

Part of me thinks that the info was leaked to Woj early because this person thought that the punishment wasn’t going to be severe enough. Leak the info and say a year-long suspension, and now the Celtics can’t really walk it back and suspend him for 10-20 games.

Honestly though, if it really is that bad, just fire him, because if Ime is only gone for a year, that makes the whole thing awkward again next year if he returns. What a mess. All parties involved come out of this looking awful. Just a terrible situation all around.

IMO, the Cs need to finalize their decision to fire him. They can’t turn this into an Alex Cora situation hoping things would sort itself out.

When I heard the news last night, I was pissed, and thought the punishment was excessive, but if they told him to stop and he didn’t……. well, he’s gotta realize that actions have consequences. This isn’t Applebee’s where you have the bartender just smashing all the waitresses. He should have been more professional about it. Go get tail elsewhere for crying out loud.

I like Ime. He proved me wrong, and turned our young guys into men. But coaching is overrated in this league. Talent wins, and we’ve got a bunch of it. Ime was great, but let’s not act like we’re firing Spoelstra or Pop here. And let’s not forget that Luke ******* Walton coached the Warriors to a 39-4 record in 2015-16 when he was filling in for Kerr.

If there’s anything that this team taught us last season, it’s that they are gritty and will fight. I’m sure the players know what’s going on, and I’m sure they’re going to wake up tomorrow to hear everyone writing them off already. They are going to be pissed, and will have an even bigger chip on their shoulders entering the season. Don’t write them off just yet.

What? What lawsuits? The wolves gm was already walking a fine line treating people like crap within the organization. That relationship didnt violate any internal policies AND that relationship wasnt swept under the rug…Rosas was seen kissing the said woman in public at a soccer game..and theres photos. He outed himself. Do some research before you compare these people.

Seems to me that Ime and the lady were warned about breaking the rules in July. She tried to break it off, but Ime kept hollering at her and that’s what caused the suspension. Power of the p*ssy. SMH
