☘️ Boston Celtics Official 2023-2024 Regular Season Thread ☘️

Yes he's playing well for a 2nd rounder in Summer league. He's showing glimmers of potentially being able to eventually fight for a roster spot as a fill-in/role player/end of bench type.

But Sharpshoeter13 Sharpshoeter13 right, you do come off as miserable in here. Haven't seen you really give any positive feedback. Always negative.

How people find joy in being cynical and overly critical about something so mundane is beyond me .

It’s freaking basketball. It shouldn’t be WEIRD lmaoooo.

ANYWAY…

God forbid fans get excited about an athletic 19 year old guard looking impressive.

I’m missing half the convo, so I just assume it’s that dude making awful takes again. Just block him already. He’s really not worth your time.

The conformity in here is gross. I doubt he even logs carson edwards minutes in the league

Why do you watch basketball if you think its boring ??then you comment in a basketball thread??Thats weird.

Thought Begarin really impressed as the week went on. Looks night and day compared to last year's SL. Has an NBA body and can actually do stuff. While he was drafted last year, to put his age in perspective with some of the guards/wings from this year's first round, he was born in August of 2022. That makes him...

- 3 months younger than Chet
- 2 years younger than Keegan Murray
- 2 months younger than Mathurin
- 6 months younger than Johnny Davis
- 18 months younger than Jalen Williams
- 28 months younger than Ochai Abaji
- 15 months younger than Tari Eason
- 1 month younger than Dalen Terry

He looked every bit as good, if not better than a chunk of this list in SL. Who knows if he ever becomes important for us, but kudos to Brad for landing some young guys with potential in the mid-to-late 2nd round in back to back drafts.

At least as a baseline he doesn’t look any worse to me at 19 than the current versions of Nesmith and Langford who are both 3 years older than him.

Maybe let him develop one more year overseas and then bring him over for the 2023-24 season.

Ricky Davis  I forgot he had two different short stints with the C's. Looking at his career he didn't stay long anywhere.

A lot of smoke this AM. Sounds like Celtics would include Jaylen, Derrick White, and picks but the Nets want Smart instead of White.
