☘️ Boston Celtics Official 2023-2024 Regular Season Thread ☘️

Boston radio already on their usual, unfounded basketball BS regarding Vonleh lol. They were already writing him off AFTER THE OPENING NIGHT.

Dude was able to hold his own against Biid but those morons think he “sucks” cuz he didn’t put up 24pts/12reb Lmaooo.

Those same idiots wanted the Celtics to trade a package centered around Marcus Smart for Andre Drummond a couple years ago. They're complete TRASH. Their basketball take are dog ****.

The fully healthy roster doesn’t really have too many holes. Do feel like we could use a backup wing of some sort though. Would be nice to give the Jays a little rest, and have someone to plug in if either of them miss time.

Reeaally want the Cs to snag Terrence Ross off of Orlando. He’s always on GOD MODE whenever he faces the Cs.

Is Lebron gonna have a Lakers Halloween Costume Party like he does most years?

I know mazzulla is a brad stevens guy but he cant be calling these brad stevens time outs. Gotta nip the runs early. Ime was great at calling an early time out.

watching the pats but following the score. wtf happened in the 2nd quarter? assume the bench was in for most of it

Always good to get that first stinker out of the way. Refs were atrocious tonight. And until Rob gets back, rebounding and rim protection are going to be a weakness for us. I hate seeing Al play drop coverage, but with no one back there to protect the rim, I believe that is our best option right now.

Funny thing is they did the exact same thing against the Bulls last season too.

I remember that. That was at home too right?
Can’t remember where it was, but it was during a stretch toward the beginning of the season where we had like 4-5 games where we’d build an early lead only to let the team come back and win.

I specifically remember The Jays taking turns frying Lonzo in the first half. All for nothing

He absolutely deserved and needed to be suspended. I think it’s super wack that he can just go coach a rival team though like nothing happened. Especially when all our players seemed to like him, and he’s obviously a good coach.

this sums it up well

im very surprised the league doesn't give two damns about this. i know he broke a "team rule"...but given the nature of some of the allegations, it feels like it's something the league should care about as well v just let him get hired while suspended

Completely agree. Same with the Primo and Kyrie issues. Seems odd to have them only be a team-level thing.
