I'm about to be in LA for the weekend (8/14 - 8/17) and was wondering if there's any "must go to" places (from SF so not terribly deprived, haha).
Spots I checked out last time:
- Roscoe's Chicken
- Bruxie's
- Daikokuya (sp?)
- Gaam
- Urth Caffe
- Diddy Riese
- Random KBBQ spots
- Portos...
Last I heard, Hazard was looking for a new spot (their physical location was pretty small the lone time I went there) and put all their inventory into storage which ended up getting burglarized.. Not sure how true that is though..
Haven't seen it mentioned yet; Allen Edmonds is having an additional 20% off clearance items (still doesn't beat the 2 for $250 deals, but it's still good imo)..
Any "must-see" spots to check out specifically in Hong Kong/Beijing? From the last few pages, all I've jotted down is sneaker street. I would love to check out consignment stores similar to Napsize or Flight Club.
I'm leaving tomorrow as well and will be staying for a week at each location so...
^Guess you 2 have been/go there? Have a friend who just recently went back after a year or two hiatus. Have another friend going to AKA in San Jose.
Anyone heard anything about Dragon House? Asking since it's close to me and my friend also told me about the World Team USA rates.
That's funny because I always got people from the East Coast (NY, FL, etc) and I'm in CA.
And video was on point, wish I'd discovered it before purchasing boxes from Uline a few years back that I've yet to use..still cheaper than buying individuals from the office stores though.
In case you guys were interested in a Hamilton watch, Jomashop has them on sale for the next 6 hours.

Dang.. Just noticed this thread, I don't usually scroll/pay attention to the frontpage "highlights"..
Definitely interested in that hoodie.. Will scoop up a pair of socks too if I find them..
I was in Pasadena over the summer, I enjoyed my stay at the Double Tree (budget balling..or just budgeting). Haha.
My second time was the Marriot at Fullerton, definitely did not enjoy as much..
I've worked by Palo Alto for nearly a year now (and I use to be on here real often), and I absolutely did not know Premier was over here. Always thought they were in Hayward.. Def gotta check them out during one of my lunch breaks.
