Again, there is an actual silhouette and artistic representation of the man on the shoe as part of the logo/design element. The vast majority of people would see that logo and immediately associate it with Michael Jordan.
And again, right back at you, it's still the brand trademark. Man or not, it is the brand's logo, and is no different than a Swoosh. Signature players still have their own logos on the shoe. Your argument is never going to be not strange.
