Just wrapped up breakfast and about to board a coach
to take us to the cultural hub of Pakistan- Lahore. Packed some fresh fruits & chips for the ride there. For breakfast naan, parathas, omelet & kadak chai. Yesterday we went to Taxila Museum. It houses a lot of Buddha centric artifacts which were excavated in 1913 so before Pakistan was born. Lots of neat things to see inside. Ticket was 20 rupees for locals so .7 cents & 500 rupees for foreigners so $1.77. Between the museum & food we only spent 10 bucks.
a night for 5 people. It's a bit sketchy def not no Hilton
but for 14 bucks why complain? We walked around a little at night. The hotel is right across Badshahi Masjid & Minar E Pakistan. The Minar symbolizes Pakistani freedom. More on the Mosque a little later.
