Your Next Vacation Destination.....?

Just wrapped up breakfast and about to board a coach 🚌 to take us to the cultural hub of Pakistan- Lahore. Packed some fresh fruits & chips for the ride there. For breakfast naan, parathas, omelet & kadak chai. Yesterday we went to Taxila Museum. It houses a lot of Buddha centric artifacts which were excavated in 1913 so before Pakistan was born. Lots of neat things to see inside. Ticket was 20 rupees for locals so .7 cents & 500 rupees for foreigners so $1.77. Between the museum & food we only spent 10 bucks.

Bro, zmaqbool zmaqbool how your stomach holding up eating most of the street food?

My partner Zain went there - came back a week of fever and diarrhea. Food poisoning.
Damn, sorry to hear about your friend. My cousin who's also named Zain he went last year for a week and got sick as well. But he's got a pretty weak immune system so there is that.

I'm doing alright with the food because Tums & Pepto Bismol are my best friends, lol. I eat 2 Tums after every meal.
I was wondering the same thing unless he’s used to the street food

I know his bathroom gonna hate him when he byke home
Couple of days and we adapt to almost anything.

Let me find out tums is the cheat code when going out the country.

I went to Mexico a few years back and remember how that food was running through me. I felt bad for my guest since the bathroom wasn’t closed off completely.

Definitely continue enjoying that trip man, we’ve been loving the photos and updates

We arrived in Lahore around 4:30 yesterday afternoon. Man oh man what an insane city! Complete sensory overload. So much car noise, motorcycle noise, different smells & aromas filling the air. Traffic is the definition of controlled chaos.

Got a room for 4,000 rupees($14.18) a night for 5 people. It's a bit sketchy def not no Hilton  but for 14 bucks why complain? We walked around a little at night. The hotel is right across Badshahi Masjid & Minar E Pakistan. The Minar symbolizes Pakistani freedom. More on the Mosque a little later.

Snacked on a delicious egg burger for 180 rupees(63 cents). Looking forward to a fun filled day today God willing. I saw my 1st Paki brother with dreads 🔥 & also the 1st chick this entire trip riding a motorcycle, lol. Had lunch nearby the hotel yesterday. With all this ☀️ I've been catching one helluva tan & I'm loving it. Hot over cold any day for me.

Had some Halva puri, meatballs & channa with sesame naan this morning for breakfast. Then we went to Badshahi Masjid which is a historic icon of 🇵🇰. It's so damn beautiful. The Badshahi Mosque was built between 1671 and 1673 by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The mosque is an important example of Mughal architecture, with an exterior that is decorated with carved red sandstone with marble inlay. It's the 3rd largest Mosque of Pakistan.

We also did the Lahore Fort & Sheesh Mahal(Mirror Palace) tours. Both were equally mesmerizing as the Mosque. Took a bus on our way to the next location so got some random snacks. The sandwich just had sauce & lettuce in it 😔 lol.

We're now in Okara. Here to see my cousin who works on the military base here. We've been stuck for 2 hours trying to get clearance to enter but since we're foreigners with US passports it's been quite the issue

I've been snapping some pics of the Pakistani military cars & toys here on the base. Not allowed to take pics but w.e. this stuff needs to be seen, lol. They have em stored under huge sheds all over the base.

I wanted to take pics of their student transportation trucks but soldiers are always all over the place. Also some more pics of the wonderful trap houses

We wasn’t sure with the typhoon hitting China if it was good to go…the wife was like *f it, let’s go!* - last minute trip to Seoul. :lol

Booked it today and we’re about to be 14 hours, 7,152 miles in!

Safe travels back but gotta ask did you weigh yourself before the trip and will you when you get byke?

Mans probably gained a nice healthy weight eating all that food

I find the amount of walking I do on vacation always offsets however much I’m eating.

Last few times I went to Europe I ate like crazy but came back 5 pounds lighter.
