Food Spots? Try Ethiopian food, habesha restaurant. Sundevich for some next level sandwiches. Rose’s Luxury.

Must see sites? DC offers free museums for the most part, technically speaking DC got the best museums in the whole of the United States (Smithsonian, National Art Gallery, Space Museum, Spy Museum(not free),.. ETC.). Georgetown is corny, but you can eat and drink by the river during the day time. Check out the capital, congress and white house. MLK & Lincoln Statue is a must. Common wealth store, palace five... etc, if you want streetwear. Chinatown, get some duck with rice & wash it down with Chinese liquor. You can carry 2 ounces of green in DC, if you are in to that.

Night Spots? U street, Adams Morgan... Areas with a lot of bars.. Live music (SoundCheck, U Street Music Hall, Flash, 9:30 club, Rock and Roll hotel, usually entry is cheap(sub $10-15) to these places, but they DO bring big names).

I will be rolling solo..... (Watch how you move and go only to spots with huge street foot traffic, DC can be amazing and at the same time it can be ugly) lol.

Just got back from a week in Italy, no pics because I think you guys all know what it looks like there.

Bologna (for work) - A nice quiet city, but I was ready to get after 2 days.

Florence - I love this city, a bunch of tourist but I spent the whole day just walking and exploring. The Duomo in Florence was just amazing from the outside.

Rome - I don't think I've ever been in a city with this much tourist packed into an area. There was just history after every corner (Colosseum & Vatican were excellent!)

Venice - My favorite part of this trip. We walked out of the train station and it was just like being in a movie setting with the crowds, the canals, and the gondolas ($90). We took a water taxi ($80) and it took us straight to our hotel's dock. It's just insane how some houses don't even have a sidewalk or a front step, the water just goes right up to your door. It must suck if you're hungover and walk out to get the mail or something and, splash! A very beautiful and relaxing city.

South Africa was sick. Wedding in Joburg, day club at Mzoli's, Paragliding from Signal Hill, evening and sunset at Table Mountain, great white shark cage diving near Mossel Bay, lion walk and safari, wine country, first Thursday, and Neighborgoods. All worth checking out.

Next up Jamaica for another buddies wedding in May, but that's just a shot two night stay.

Haven't decided what's next after that.

Up on the docket for me...

April: Seattle and Vegas
May: SF and NYC for Governors Ball
June: Vegas
July: Chicago for Lollapalooza

Yoooo. Aruba flights are dirt cheap. Check Kayak. Gonna book for end of April to early May, only $380 RT from san diego.

Just booked a trip to Punta Cana, DR in June.

Staying at RIu Palace - any stories / tips? Taking the fam.

Would really love to visit the Bahamas this summer cuz I am fascinated by it.

(Yeah, I know...Moreno Valley/Riverside is nothing lol)

You think 1300 for a 10 day trip to Thailand is a good deal. Groupon trip. Airfare included?

sounds like a great deal, for how many people?

10 days is a long time though.......im good on like 5 days max at any one place. unless i have family in said area
