Don’t understand why MLB the Show is PlayStation only. They’re missing out on this Xbox money i want to throw at them.

Totally agree i absolutely hate PS. Hate the controller and despise the UI, just ugly looking to me.

Bought a ps4 in 17 stricktly for MLB, i was feining for it and just bought it at GS.

Xbox needs to throw whatever money they got to get a damn license. Its sad that they think that cartoon *** baseball is good enough smh RBI baseball is garbage

I believe the reason they got rid of MVP was because it wasnt selling good

Having never played a From Software game before I was kinda expecting Sekiro to be brutally difficult to the point of a lot of frustration.
It is indeed brutally difficult but in a good way and I'm enjoying it a lot. I don't think I'm close to halfway but I definitely feel I'm getting my money's worth.

Game feels like you're the star in your own samurai movie.

If you've never played a Souls game before, that could actually be a benefit with Sekiro

I know a lot of people, myself included, had to get over an initial hump where we were playing this like Souls and just getting stomped

Yeah I've been hearing that from every Souls/Bloodborne player I talked to about the game  I don't know much about the Souls series but apparently the major difference was that Sekiro generally rewards playing as aggressive as possible with deflections and counters, rather than dodging and carefully awaiting your opportunity to strike. Also a much stronger emphasis on mechanics rather than gear in Sekiro.

The latter was one of the major positives in my decision to buy Sekiro. I figured it would be easier to get the hang of it rather than meticulously trying to figure out which weapons, shield, armor, build, ... to use.

In order to get better I've made it a point to refrain from using the revive mechanic. Also because I hate dragonrot. Regular dying can still give you rot essence but so far I've only racked up 3 infections, including the two you get when you first get dragonrot.
And I've died a lot.

I've found the demon bell a pretty good way to practice too. Makes enemies drop better items as well.

anyone getting borderlands goty and wanna play? i ordered from 2k store, cause i been reading that gamestops only gettin 2-4 copies rumors or not didnt wanna take a chance, plus i wanted physical. not sure if my copy will arrive tomorrow since i just ordered it now, even tho it says release date arrival but i doubt it.

How far are you in Sekiro so far? It has been brutally different but I think I’m getting the hang out it. I went in blind without having played any Dark Souls or Bloodborne games from the developers.

It can be frustrating at times but I’m loving it so far. I love the feeling of getting in those perfect deflections and finally conquering a boss after the initial struggle.

im at the first or second general mini boss, i probably play it for around a hour every other day. i dont think its too difficult right now but im still early in the game. i do feel ive been putting in time in it as getting to that point has probably taken me around 5 hours lol including dying a bunch lol

Kinda surprised you haven't played the yakuza games and there's the new game they made Judgment coming soon too.
Super underrated games. They're in my my top list of my favorites now

Seems like the handsome collection is the way go?

Man playing Anthem on Master level is hard as ish. Tried to do a purple contract on Master 1 level & my group eneded up rage quitting after dying so many times. Did manage to get my first gold item from completing half of that contract though. It is a gold level sniper gun.
I don't even want to know what Master Level 2 missions are like.

might be free to play this weekend

tried to pick it up earlier at best buy since i got a $10 cert to burn...but they had one of the most depressing amount of physical games i ever seen for xbox and switch. it was like 20 games lol...no borderlands either

borderlands handsome collection is currently free to play.

amazon got 3 months of gamepass for $30 plus an additional free 3 months so 6 months for $30

friday the 13th is $5 on xbox live

Finally got to Genichiro on Sekiro after completing as much of the other areas as possible.
It only hit me after I beat him that I still had the demon bell on from gathering some of the yellow buddha candies that decrease the posture damage you take. :smh::lol:
He was doing ridiculous damage that was only offset by my health bar already being at 7 prayer necklaces but I didn't notice the demon bell icon was still there. The bell increases item droprates but it also makes all enemies have more vitality/posture and increases their damage.
Beat Genichiro on the 4th try so my tactic of keeping the bell on as much as possible to get better is definitely paying dividends.

One of the previous bosses I did prior to Genichiro was the Corrupted Monk. I ended up dying a bunch of times before figuring out the strategy but this attempt takes the cake...
I was heated  Look at his health man :smh:
