I feel you though. Personal opinion but sporting games are wack this days. I don’t know what 2k is but it ain’t basketball.

I enjoy 2K, but I don't delve into MyPlayer/Career and all that. I only play quick matches with my friends. I copped it for $20 and I'm satisfied with it. If I didn't have 2K19 I definitely would've bought NBA Live 19 when it was $6

Really? I bought NBA Live 18 last year and enjoyed it. I got 2K19 in November and I feel like the gameplay is just tighter. I will say I think Live had better graphics.

Game is cool, playing in Japanese...but damn I’ve died a bunch lol. Haven’t watched or read anything on it. Gonna see how long I can go like that. Probably not much longer lol
How far are you in Sekiro so far? It has been brutally different but I think I’m getting the hang out it. I went in blind without having played any Dark Souls or Bloodborne games from the developers.i never played neither, but for some reason going in blind has me having a nostalgia feeling like back in the day learning how to beat a game. i just chrome block sekiro words lol. but ill probably pick up the dark souls trilogy now to add to the BL

It can be frustrating at times but I’m loving it so far. I love the feeling of getting in those perfect deflections and finally conquering a boss after the initial struggle.
Currently beaten 2 of the samurai general mini-bosses, the mini-boss with the spear, the chained ogre mini-boss, the horseman required boss and finished the Blazing Bull boss late yesterday night as well.
So far the Bull definitely gave me the most trouble. Other than using my firecrackers tool (scares beasts) I struggled to figure out a strategy for a good 6 deaths or so. Once I figured it out it was just a matter of staying focused and running away from the bull at all times until you get a window to strike his face or rear a few times, or deflect his headbutt for big posture damage.

I only play straight up 5v5 online or against someone in person. I never enjoyed the MyPlayer mode ****.
2k sold their games for $25 one year and overtook live because the gameplay outshined it. EA sold Live for $6 and gave the one before out for free on Gold I think and it's still the biggest joke in sports games.

I personally have no issues with the game and will continue to enjoy it. I played the last 2 Lives and thought they sucked. It's ok I like something differently than you.

Never said its not ok to like something different do you. Your the one who came in talking live trash blah blah blah when clearly its not.
People are just so stuck up 2k butt they cant see its trash and been trash for awhile. Like i said the last 2 lives been far superior to 2k and im not the only one that thinks that way.

Get over it man it's not that serious, I said the game sucked because I thought it sucked. You can't say "clearly it's not" because my opinion differs. It has a 73 on Metacritic, clearly people agree with me but if you want to chalk it up to people being stuck up to make you feel better about liking a bad game go for it. Your opinion won't sway me

Im a live fan. Played it from 96-2006...been waiting for it to come back and have played last year’s and this year’s. It’s still trash but it’s getting close. I can’t wait for it to officially overtake 2K cuz these serves are so damn trash.

I feel like I'm unbiased here since I played Live and 2K for about the same amount of time.
I have to give the gameplay to 2K. Granted I'm comparing Live 18 to 2K19 so maybe gameplay changed in Live drastically. And maybe there's a little recency bias
2K seems a little more realistic to me. In Live I hit so many more jumpers/3s contested or not. I also feel like you could just dribble into and around defenders without consequence in Live. This is playing on the highest difficulty for both of course.
That said, I wouldn't call either of them trash
