I love Cena.

His charity and time spent with children makes me have tremendous respect as a person. As a wrestler I boo him every time I see him on my tv or in real life when I attend events. I can make the distinction and separate the two.

So hard to hate Cena, he deserves to be face of the WWE regardless of his in-ring ability, or lack thereof. Dude puts in a lot of work for the fans, props to him .

I feel the need to mention the Cena/Mysterio title match from Raw on 7/25/11. I love this match. It's smart, the crowd is hot, and one of Mysterio's last great matches, I think. This has been such a great decade for wrestling in the WWE that it's easy to let a lot of the earlier stuff pass you by (especially considering how good the TLC match was right before it), but do yourselves a favor and rewatch this match.



I will always maintain that this match should have happen at Summer Slam that year and let the Punk stuff play out afterward, but I understand the need to strike when the iron is hot. I just can't help but think it would have been better that way than what we eventually got.

Notes like that really put things in perspective..if the price we as fans pay for happy children is a crappier product then so be it. with that said though, I dont think the product HAS to suffer so cena can stay in this role. the company just isnt being ran well these days.

It's definitely her attitude, cause to me she looks like an older Trina, and I'd wash Trina, so I'm washing Mimi as well. Don't care for Cameron though.

And yes, Cena's a legend, there's no way around that both in and out of the ring. As far as in the ring, he's been around for too long at the top to not be considered a legend. He's had good to great matches with nearly every other person at the top as well that only cements his status (at one time or another, Taker, Edge, HHH, Punk, Bryan, Angle, Rey, Rock, Eddie, Booker T, HBK, Jericho...JBL (??). As far as modern history, the only people missing are matches with Mankind, Austin, and Flair

DCAllAfrican thanks for the Cena/Rey post, I remember that match being really good, but I really haven't thought of that match in a long time, which is funny cause 2010-2011 was ehhhhhhhhhh and that should have easily stood out to me.
