That Ambrose/Lee storyline would've been fantastic.
The Indy Invasion was a cool idea but long term play of The Shield has been the right call. Also, would've changed the above mentioned storyline too.

- Regarding HoH: The match got a horrible reaction and the live crowd booed it heavily. Unlike Final Deletion, which was tongue-in-cheek humor, this was a ten-minute horror movie fight scene that simply didn’t work. On the segment, there was a “live” graphic written on it, which was insulting given that it was broad daylight at the time and Orton arrived in the dark of night. Since Orton was buried underneath the refrigerator, Wyatt showed up with the idea he’d win via forfeit. But when he got in the ring, Orton showed up behind him. Orton and Wyatt were wearing the same clothes, but Orton was now clean shaven. I guess he had time to not only teleport from Missouri to San Jose in 20 minutes and use magic to eliminate all sunlight during a spring California afternoon (and there was a scene when Orton first arrived at the House of Horrors with a tractor driving backwards while nobody was in the drivers’ seat), but still had time to grab a quick shave. They did a 4:12 nothing match.
- Bayley vs Bliss: The funny part of this is the finish changed four times over the last 30 or so hours before match time. On Saturday afternoon, the call was to put Bayley over. That changed very early Sunday. Then it changed twice more on Sunday. It’s amazing that if you were thinking that Bliss should win the title, that you’d change plans that many times. Plus, the finish didn’t get any heat.
- Xpac: Waltman. 44, was arrested on five counts of possession of narcotics intended for sale just as he was about to board a flight to England for an appearance for the IPW U.K. promotion. While going through customs, as someone whose name registered with the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agency due to prior drug arrests, drug sniffing K-9 officers indicated there were drugs in his possession. Officials opened his luggage and allegedly found 38 methamphetamine pills, two THC liquid cigarettes, 56 THC capsules and three marijuana-laced chocolate bars.
- Shibata: Katsuyori Shibata is still hospitalized. He’s been in touch with some of the wrestlers via text, and the word is he’s in good spirits and making jokes to some of them about wrestling, such as how ridiculous Yo****atsu’s new look is. He’s in stable condition, but only family members are allowed to see him. The company is looking to create a new top star feeling there is a major hole to fill, so that may happen in G-1
- Broken gimmick: there were rumors that WWE and Impact had reached a settlement on it. We can’t confirm that and Reby Hardy publicly denied it. However, we do know that the belief is that they are doing a build toward it and we had been told weeks ago that the sides were in negotiations for a settlement where WWE would end up buying the rights to the gimmick from Anthem. WWE is going with the opinion that it would be settled even before those rumors came out which is why all the teases are being done. For what it’s worth, those who do know the situation have not confirmed or denied to us that it is settled, and had denied it being settled a few weeks earlier.
