Wrestling Thread Jan 27-Feb 9 | 2/3 RAW - New Age Outlaws v Rhodes Brothers for Titles in a STEEL CA

The Ryback is one of the best things going on in the WWE. Just don't have him even sniff the main event anymore. Have him troll Raw at a random point and he's gold

THE BIG GUY

- For those wondering about Bray Wyatt’s promos, word from within WWE is that he writes all promos by himself and then submits them to WWE creative for approval or edits.

- F4Wonline.com confirms previous reports that Paul Bearer is considered a lock for the WWE Hall of Fame this year. PWInsider reports that Scott Hall and Cyndi Lauper’s names have been discussed in recent weeks. Also, word is that Stephanie McMahon is trying to lock in a big name for this year’s ceremony.

- Cody Rhodes’ wife Brandi Rhodes is now using the name Eden in WWE NXT where she has been doing ring announcing. When she was signed to WWE a few years ago, she used the name Eden Stiles.

- Regarding John Cena’s eye injury, we do know that he was accidentally poked in the eye in the match with Randy Orton on Saturday night. The match was briefly stopped while WWE trainers checked on Cena.

- CM Punk is still scheduled to appear on the February 12th episode of Comedy Central’s @midnight show. The Miz was also scheduled for the same episode but was removed a few days ago when the show updated their guest list.

I don't know how Punk does it with these females but he even has Ronda Rousey trying to get at him.

Dude's list will be as impressive as Jeter's before he retires.

Let's not go that far. Jeter and Leo have the best lists hands down

Never even heard of that show. But how could they remove The Miz from the show. Movie star, reality show star and former WWE champ.

-According to F4WOnline.com, there are a number of people behind-the-scenes in WWE right now that are said to be “not unhappy” that CM Punk is gone. Apparently there has been a lot of negativity towards Punk from many people in the company.

As noted previously, Vince McMahon is personally handling the Punk situation. McMahon reportedly wants Punk to stay because he feels like there aren’t many top Superstars in the company right now.

Regarding WrestleMania XXX, the feeling is that Punk knew the company was aware that his contract expires in July, and that he wasn’t expected to re-sign, meaning he felt like he knew what direction his match against Triple H would head as a result.

That's honestly what Vince gets for not developing and pushing younger talent. Not to say punk didn't deserve to be a top guy but guys like big show Randall and cena should not be main eventing every ppv

How is the groundbreaking? This should honestly be the norm  Instead of the "creative team" just having a generic template with the wrestler's name and opponent's name.

Honestly, I haven't watched the last 3 weeks.... just read the thread. And Brandon Stroud.

-As previously reported, WWE held creative meetings on Thursday and Friday to address the storyline plans headed into Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania XXX.

As of last week, the WrestleMania card was scheduled to feature Randy Orton vs. Batista, John Cena vs. Brya Wyatt, Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar, CM Punk vs. Triple H and Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus.

One match that’s been proposed is Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H, with the stipulation being that Daniel Bryan gets a WWE title shot at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, which takes place near his home town in Seattle. Bryan wrestling Triple H would then lead to his originally scheduled opponent Shameaus wrestling Kane. John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt and Batista vs. Randy Orton.

Another scenario is John Cena vs. Triple H, Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt and a triple threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight championship featuring Randy Orton vs. Batista vs. Daniel Bryan in a three-way for the belt.

The final set of possible matches discussed is Sheamus vs. Triple H, John Cena vs. Wyatt and Orton vs. Batista vs. Bryan in a triple threat.

I like this card much better. Especially if Bryan wins. He needs to be champion.

HHH should stop, Sheamus should go away.

Brock Lesnar vs Taker is decent.

Punks BEEN doing that and people are starting to follow. Although he probably wasnt the first one in history to do this, hes definitely the first one in the PG era to take the initiative for his promos
