As much as I like Cesaro you cant just push him like that too soon. and the WHC literally means nothing nobody even cares about the belt . I'd much rather Cesaro be built up for a little while more and make a WWE title run .

i do agree about the WHC meaning nothing now. I wish they would make an undisputed title and put both the WWE and WHC together like they did back when Jericho was the first to win it. It would be called the WWE World Heavyweight championship. Plus its time to redesign that ugly *** Cena belt they have been using for the past 7 years or so.

What ever happened to the rumored new strap that they were suppose to release a few months back? I thought the RAW 1000th episode would have been perfect to debut a new strap. The only other even to debut a new belt now would have to be Wrestlemania..... hopefully they let punk keep it till then and set up Punk Vs Undertaker streak vs streak....

- Ric Flair is expected to confront CM Punk on next week’s 20th Anniversary of Raw which takes place in Houston, Texas.

So you got Flair & Austin next week so far.

Bryan Alvarez notes that the company is keen to rectify their mistakes with Del Rio and push him as their next big babyface star, and feel that the belt will aid his cause greatly.

They decided very recently that they are going with Del Rio as their new Hispanic superstar, with the idea being that they're going to push him harder than both Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara and try to make a genuine Mexican drawing card out of him. This had been the idea when he was first signed. It's possible they were going to wait until the Rumble and perhaps decided that since they botched up his turn so bad they needed to change the title and try to remedy the situation quicker, plus a title change would have been lost in the shuffle at Rumble...

There's nothing face about del Rio. Nothing. That's like trying to make Boss Barrett the new Cena. Some people have that heel factor. He's not believable as a good guy. Not even a tweener. No one has ever been able to relate to the uber rich guy especially one who pushes a new whip every week.

Meh. I would have no problem seeing Del Rio in a tweener role. That is something I'm sure he could pull off quite well.

I'm saying jhawk. Though he's been stale for awhile, there's nothing at all that would make me wanna cheer for him. Ricardo really is the only thing remotely that could get him over as a face, and he'd get over more than Del Rio.

:lol

Damn she also said this...

If you need two words that aren't 'The Rock' to convince you to watch Smackdown this week, here they are: wardrobe malfunction.

The photo below was taken prior to Monday’s WWE RAW from Tampa, Florida. The leaked picture shows a feed that aired on the arena television sets showing Ryback and members of the Shield rehearsing for the TLC match that took place on RAW between Ryback and CM Punk.

CM Punk can be seen sitting in the bottom left corner of the ring, with Big Show in the bottom right corner, Triple H and Ricky Steamboat as well as several WWE divas outside the ring.

The image shows Ryback, Rollins and Ambrose rehearsing the spot that took place on RAW, where Ryback was climbing the ladder, the lights went out and all of a sudden he was battling Rollins and Ambrose on the ladder.

Jack Swagger should return and enter a lightweight feud with Big E.

For what?

Speaking of Thwagger, I need him to get a babyface push with JR as his manager. A small one for the intercontinental title would be suitable.

WWE Raw on Monday, January 7, 2013 scored a 3.14 rating, up 40 percent from the holiday shows to end 2012. It was the highest rating in 19 weeks dating back to August 27.

The second biggest story was the third hour, which drew an average of 4.65 million viewers and increased 7.5 percent from the second hour. It was the most third-hour viewers since July 30 - the night after Raw 1,000 and official switch to three-hour Raws.

WWE benefited from strategic placement of C.M. Punk vs. Ryback right at the top of the third hour, which coincided with the BCS Title game hitting halftime. WWE also benefited from the BCS Title game being a blow-out, which kept people on Raw for The Rock's return at the very end of the third hour leading into a 15-minute over-run.

Hourly Break Down: 4.29 million first hour viewers (most 1H viewers since Oct. 29), 4.32 million second hour viewers vs. meat of BCS Title game, and 4.65 million third hour viewers.

On cable TV Monday night, Raw ranked #2 behind the BCS Title game's 26.3 million viewers, which was the second-biggest cable TV audience of all-time. Raw was #2 behind the BCS game and drew the best adult male ratings since Aug. 27 before the start of competition from fall season TV & Monday Night Football.

Oooh, I've got a prediction now.

I'm thinking back to that Big E promo and his recent tweet and how AJ and Dolph have been reacting to him. It feels like his gimmick is going to be the strongman doofus of the group that says really awkward and stupid things that make sense to no one.

You might be right. If creative is really going thru this route it's gonna be another wasted character.
