-We noted several weeks back that Rey Mysterio could possibly be headed back to WWE as he put feelers out and then that was confirmed by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter but it was noted that WWE wasn’t too interested.
Word is that Vince McMahon is a lot more resistant to Rey returning than Triple H is. However, it was Vince who didn’t want to let go of Rey in the first place. Rey is still trying to get on WWE’s good side in hopes of a return.
Because Rey wants to return due to Lucha Underground’s future being up in the air, Vince does not want talents to think they can come and go when other non-WWE plans don’t work out. Vince reportedly feels they could send a message to other top stars that want to leave, showing them that the “grass isn’t always greener on the other side.”
Triple H and Vince both know WWE needs a Mexican Superstar right now and Triple H is more open to bringing Rey back for that reason. It could be several months before they make a decision on whether or not they want to bring him back but perhaps he could be a nice addition to WrestleMania 32 in Texas.

- WWE is teasing a new partner for Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose as they now have to deal with three Wyatt Family members – Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. We noted before that Reigns and Ambrose vs. Harper and Wyatt is likely for Night of Champions, so it looks like we could see the debut of their third man there or they could do it on an upcoming RAW and turn the pay-per-view match into a six-man.
Regarding former Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan possibly joining Reigns and Ambrose, he has been out of action since June after suffering a torn bicep. There was talk at one point that he could be out of action for 4-6 months and the last word we heard was November. An early return is always possible but one report we heard in June said longer than 6 months was a real possibility.
I know some of yall may suspect maybe a NXT call up potentially but watch it be someone like Kane.
