It doesn’t dumb it down at all. Having multiple MIB matches at a Money in the Bank PPV or multiple Hell in a Cell matches at a HIC PPV dumb down the gimmick. A WAR games match at a PPV titled SURVIVOR Series actually makes sense. It’s not just a NXT gimmick.

As of right now, it is only used in NXT. That's why I called it an NXT gimmick.

I still fund it idiotic not to just do a SURVIVOR SERIES match at a ppv named SURVIVOR SERIES.

But that would involve too much common sense that wwe doesn't possess.
