Favorite WCW feud from 1989?

Only feud I know of from that year is Flair and Steamboat, but I can give you my favorite show, which was Starrcade 89: Future Shock. Most don't like that show, but I liked the Round Robin singles and Tag Tournament. Luger was the MVP that night as a Sports Entertainer

Might as whale just make a light heavyweight title since they have a million other titles floating around right now. Give these smaller guys something to compete for and have them keep it to their own weight limit.

I think people are mad because those are Flair/Hogan prices, which Banks hasn’t drawn as much as those guys.

Now where Banks is able to pull that price off is because of her walkout plus she’s a woman. Marks will always overpay women, both in and out of the business. Also, helps that most (including myself) find her as one of the more attractive women in the business. Good on her for getting what she’s getting and a middle finger to anyone watching her pockets because they know they would do it too in her position.

Don't forget the Star Wars connection. Minor character or not, Star Wars collectors go crazy for the wildest 3 second background characters. That's a pretty big cross section of mega fans.
