He was approaching mid-card status at that point. He wasn't solidified in that role.

Now he is squarely in that midcard seat. He isn't a STAR by any stretch.

Yeah the headlines are hyperbolic but the match was very good for his career in AEW and his overall name recognition these tweets while inaccurate are proof of that. You said it yourself it solidified him
