This is something I have been discussing with friends/fellow NTer's etc.

With the economy the way it is, people still have money to pay for Jordans and other shoe releases.

I'm more curious on how kids in college, and kids still in HS are seeming to get almost every Jordan release recently.

What are you guys thoughts on this?

i havent been buying as many, my last cop was white cement 3s. i think a lot of these kids dont know how to save their money, every paycheck they get gets blown on shoes, clothes, fast food, etc with very little if any left to save.

Pretty much.  But seriously, you'd be surprised at what making a simple budget can accomplish.

Judging by some of the comments i see on NT, some individuals have their priorities majorly out of wack. "I've gotta get the bordeaux! Screw the phone bill!"

just what i was thinking. you think people would pay bills on time, but rather have new jordans than paying rent, phone, gas and electricity, etc. in a timely manner. people's mindset are so out of whack. then again a good amount of people buying these shoes are also unemployed, using their unemployement checks for this!
