What's wrong with Gay Marriage?

As a father, I don't want my children being confused by what this world has decided to deem right all of a sudden. I can teach them the natural order, but there will surely be questions when they see two males getting it in for all the world to see.

For those of you that say it's just an old fairytale book, do you think murder should be legalized? How about stealing? You may not have any religious belief, but surely you can see the male and female bodies were created for one another.

Because words don't always convey the correct message....I don't hate gay people. I don't hate anyone. I just have my beliefs and try to stay true to them.
Fair enough, but your 'beliefs' are rubbish.  So you don't want homosexual marriages because it may cause you have to do your job; parent? For %+#%'s sake! 'Let's deny people rights because I am a bit uncomfy with answering questions my kids may hypothetically ask!'

I cant stand flamboyantly gay males and butch lesbian females. They make me mad uncomfortable.

That being said i wish the best for the homosexual community.

Im too concentrated on myself to be worried homosexuals.

NO, that's not it. Man is meant to be with woman. That is first to reproduce and bring forth more life. The pleasure of it is additional reward.

NO (again) it bothers me that any child should have to see this. Not just mine. It's wrong! God willing, I will be here long enough to teach my daughters what is wrong and right and separate my opinion from fact. But there are too many kids growing up seeing two "moms" or dads". That's why you got so many boys out here behaving like females. Children don't know any better and will only imitate what they see. They should not look to carry on normal lives (marriage, kids) but not normal lifestyles.

NO I will never be uncomfortable telling my children that homosexual "marriage" is wrong.

Marriage equals a man and a woman. It always has been and it always will be.

What is done behind closed doors is the business of those involved, but it is a problem when they want the world to conform to them. However, we all have to face judgement in the end.

Homosexuals aren't trying to get the world to conform to them, they are trying to get the world to accept them as equals.  It's obvious you don't.  Your poor kids!

@imaballer, No, we aren't married yet. Will be soon enough though.

@lobotomy, My kids are fine. Maybe you should refrain from putting any on this earth with your mindset. Everything isn't to be accepted in this world. As someone posted earlier...what's next?

As I said before, homosexuality is a sin. so is murder.

Its sad that this is even an argument. People hide behind religious bigotry to deny people rights. Is this Alabama in 1963? It doesn't matter what the bible says, because religion should have no bearing on the laws of this country.

I don't want to get personal necessarily but I have a few questions:
These daughters that you speak of, are they already born?  If so, you mention a fiance?  If not, do you and your fiance deserve to be married if one or both of you is unable to reproduce?

Also, what will you do if/when one of your daughters or son tells you that they're gay.  Will they be wrong?  Do you think they "chose" homosexuality to spite you, that they don't deserve the same freedoms that you or other heterosexuals do?

Okay, so now I see this response.  You and your fiance have two children or am I reading this incorrectly?  What happened to the primary purpose of marriage being to reproduce as you stated?  Sounds like one came before the other.  Do you not believe in methods of contraception but you do believe in pre-marital sex?

NT is one place where religion shouldn't even be discussed because it's more of an argument than a civilized discussion.  I agree that homosexuality is a sin, but it's not my place to judge anyone who makes that decision because they have to answer to God just like I do when it's all said and done.

Equating murder and one's sexuality says enough about you.  Good luck with the kids, man.  I sincerely mean that. They will need it. You are putting them at such a disadvantage.

@Scars, she and I have been planning marriage for the past two years. We were set to get married before we found out she as pregnant with twins. As with any relationship, there have been delays. Yes, the children were born prior to marriage. Yes, pre-marital sex is a sin. I see your point in that no sin is greater than another. However, one sin is not the same as a sinful lifestyle.
