thick without being too thick, and go down a lil past the knees. Seems like every other place I get shorts from they're above the knee and I can't do that

You really wear Jordan shorts out in public and stuff? I can understand hangin out or going to the beach but other than those places and the court...Jordan shorts are not ok

Hollister cargos are made a little cheaper - thinner material. And they sit a little higher up on the legs, very similar to American Eagle. Abercrombie is the way to go
