2. Andrew Johnson (Everton): 20.6 -- 20.7

4. Kenwyne Jones (Sunderland): 20.7 -- 20.2
5. Ashley Young (Aston Villa): 20.4 -- 20.3

I totally forgot about Obafemi Martins, he's probably top 5 in the world in speed. No way Rooney runs 100m in 11 seconds, he isn't thatfast.
That Nike speed test looks kind of suspect. Andy Johnson? Are you kidding me?

Other players that are fast as hell...David Odonkor, Theo Walcott, Robinho, Sammy Eto'o (before his 12 knee operations), Shaun Wright-Phillips, etc.

Rooney isnt quick, i mean his acceleration is poor compared to guys like ronaldo etc but dude has speed imho. Once he reaches that speed very few guys can keeppace with him.

Clichy is probably the fastest I've seen during a game.

Which helps when he gets burnt.

He is also fast with the ball as well but can never get by the last defender when bringing the ball up the wing.
