Millennial rates actually contribute to the overall rate...not sure why we shouldn't be counting them but alright
Around 50 percent of marriages ended in divorce in the 80s while today it's closer to 40 percent
I personally look at something that drops from 50 to 40 as a decline...others may have a different interpretation
Again, did you read the articles or just look at the numbers? The baby boomers inflated the divorce because they got married a bunch of times. Of course divorce rates are down because marriage rate are down. Can’t have divorce without marriage.
- While that may seem like good news, the marriage rate is also declining, indicating both marriage and divorce are out of reach for certain segments of the population.
