That's the same deal with the aviation field that im in, i get cold calls from different contracting company for aerospace jobs around the country. i get calls 2-3x a week. 12-1800 per diem tax free and somewhere between 14-18/hr, if you go over 40 is broken down to per diem and hr somewhere around 28-30/hr taxed. But im in the process of get my A&p license i only got experience under my belt. Hoping to land a job somewhere in the middle east after work for the Saudi Royals hear they make good money out there.Right now I'm talking with a traveling agency and will be doing it as soon as they find something in the areas I want to work. They will give you a stipend for housing and food which will be tax free, but pay you a low hourly wage which will be taxed. They pay weekly and from what I was told the average is 1200-1500 weekly with room to increase pay the more you travel. I have a Georgia and Alabama license right now and will probably get other state licenses if it's something I want to do for a while.
