4 years later and i finally get redemption on one of my biggest fumbles LOL. Being a noob and not knowing what’s what. Was able to snag at retailPA just got a big Buffalo trace shipment. Local store had a ton of EHT-BP....and I passed like a dummy not knowing how good that is
weller is hard as hell to track down in PA so I’m glad I can finally cross that one of the list
Nah that Rum Mai Tai is heat! Both of these were a mistake
Scotland is definitely worth the visit fellas.
Went to Oban today and passed through the distillery to do a tasting. The 14 was my favorite followed by Little Bay. The others were good as well.
Also picked up a Harris Tweed Flask and a couple little bottles to try.
During out 5 day Scotland tour, in Oban we were supposed to go to the distillery but it was canceled., so we went to Blair Athol instead. I also when to the whisky experience in Edinburgh.
I saw the Johnny WALKER store on my way to Dean Village, didn’t know they had taste testing as well.Bummer you missed the distillery in Oban.
I only went into the gift shop at The Whiskey Experience but I did get two good minis to sip on through the trip.
We did the Johnnie Walker tour in Edinburgh. I was pleasantly surprised with it and definitely recommend it. I was able to taste the Harris Tweed limited during the tour as one of the 3 drinks provided.
First drink in the JW Prince Street tour was a high ball with Double Black.
Second was the Harris Tweed Limited Release neat.
And last I had and old fashioned that had JW Black as the base with Lagavulin 16 and licorice bitters.
