WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

Alan Taylor on working in Thor 2

"I’ve done two and I’ve learned that you don’t make a $170 million movie with someone else’s money and not have to collaborate a lot. The Marvel experience was particularly wrenching because I was sort of given absolute freedom while we were shooting, and then in post it turned into a different movie. So, that is something I hope never to repeat and don’t wish upon anybody else."

Funny about the negative things he has to say considering Thor 2 is at least 65% on RT while his new film Terminator Genisys is below 30% right now and likely dip even lower as more reviews starts pouring in.

^Doesnt change that he is saying what others are saying. Still tho. He dont have room to talk

I said since the beginning they should be selling the film based off cinematography but I doubted they could since they likely did not have the VFX done. Still straight to bootleg tho

For rice purposes.
To be honest I'm not that excited for a new Spider-Man movie. He's starting to get batman syndrome for me.
Antman looks good. I hope they execute the heist superhero genre well since it's a combination of two of my favorite movie types.
Neither am I. Only Marvel movie besides Ant-Man that I'm not giving the benefit of the doubt

Haha. Yea those heroine movies seem to be a killer when they flop

Ie. Elektra for Jennifer Garner, Chun Li like you mentioned

They have to proceed very very carefully with Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman

Or they could just make a good movie. Kill Bill is pretty much a superhero movie and it is great

All New Marvel Now Covers for those curious

Hopefully this is used as a DD costume in a future season. Cuz dude wearing a washed out red to fight crime at night bothers me.

Also I know they rip off each other all the time but the shameless rip off of the DCU survived the incursions :lol

once they don't do another origin story everything will be fine.. or if they do, do an origin story they need to batman begins with it

they story with his family was wrapped up quickly.. then you basically went on to batman year one

it's already established what happens with uncle ben.. we know about aunt may.. we know how he gets his powers.. so they frees them up to have him come into civil war as spiderman

hell, if they want 're-establish' their version of things, they can have brief flashbacks.. have him pause and think about his uncle ben and his words of wisdom.. have him feel guilt over what happened

as he's young and learning his powers, have him have a flashback to getting bit by the spider and how he has progressed through his powers.. or some line about the weakling he use to be or something.. or have him in school having to hold back from bullies

this.. I got faith with how they have handled black widow to this point.. plus factor in who was handling those movies

kill bill is a great example.. but you also got movies like: firefly, salt, lucy, hunger games, colombiana, T2, hanna, wanted, 80% of the movies michelle Rodriquez is in, kick-a@*@(*, alien movies, underworld movies, resident evil movies, planet terror/deathproof

- not saying all of those are great.. but they are action movies with female heroines

and most recently mad max fury road

just thinking of movies with female heroines..

what about chloe graze moretz for captain marvel?

obviously she's young.. but you could alter the story a bit to account for that

If she was older, yes. Aside from Pete, everyone is skewing older unless Marvel is making a shift in casting philosophy starting with Spiderman

So is the Lupita Nyong'o / Storm thing happening? Or was it rumor...as much as I want to see it happen, I don't want to see X-Men's continuity screwed with.

Fox casted someone else for Storm already. I love Lupita Nyong'o. I wish there was a black character that Marvel studios owns that she could get casted for. I don't think there is one.

well they turned Nick Fury and Johnny Storm into black guys, so they could potentially turn a female character black if they wanted to

Head that Spiderman's first costume will be like homemade pajamas or whatever, and after impressing the Avengers or whatever, he'll get a new suit

That sucks, so that means someone from the Avengers will be in the Spidey film and he might be only getting a suit in the end?

Eh, I ain't going to want to watch Spidey swinging around for two hours in a homemade Spidey pajama.

So much terrible idea being thrown around the past couple of pages. :{

I think he means in civil war that will go down

Kinda like daredevil, where he's doing his thing in clothes he scrapped together.. Then stark or shield designs a proper suit for him

Nah, he obviously meant in the Spidey film. Everyones been talking about Spideys very small cameo in CW, how are they going to show him swinging around in pajams and have him evolve to a new suit handed by Stark?

I'm not against homemade costumes. For the DD Netflix series, I preferred DD's homemade suit over his final costume. I'm sure they can find a way to make Spidey's homemade costume look nice.

We've had 5 movies of Pete in his final suit straight out of hs.

Having him crime fight extensively in something homemade will feel more of a natural progression.

No. Lupita is too good for a Fox superhero movie

They casted the girl who played Aayliyah in the biopic produced by Wendy Williams :{

Nope.

Fox found a woman lighter than Halle to play Storm :{

Man, so what if he had his suit the last 5 films? No one was complaining about that, no one has ever said "I wish he wore the pajamas for longer period of time". It's like the complaint that he didn't spend 2 hours being inside the school so it's not considered Peter in high school.

Plus his suit has always been homemade too, very well made that it seems impossible but that's how it's always been, it'a comic book movie for crying outloud. Why change that?

Things a terrible idea, flat out, that no one wants to see.
