WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

I admitted I didn't have much clue about him in the GotG thread because I never watched Parks & Rec but I thought he already had a big buzz from Zero Dark Thirty, he was already on his way to the top from that film so I am not sure about him being unknown. He supposedly got plenty of exposure from that films Oscar buzz.

Zero Dark 30 was the first instance I was aware he was being talked about for sure

I remember reading a magazine and there was an article about his weight loss for Zero Dark 30. They showed a before/after and everything. I remember thinking, 'Oh this is that dude from Everwood!' lmao

The GotG team in interviews make it sound like they really don't know him from those movies.. Just parks and recreation

I don't get yall watching Pratt's money so hard and what his contract deals look like :lol Talking about he's going to ask for more money and speculating all this other stuff. Mad unnecessary. Let Marvel and his agent cross that bridge when it comes.

Can't leave it at it's a good thing he's becoming an A-list movie star?
The way things are looking, Marvel needs to reboot Ant-Man
No they don't.

They'll just use the other Ant-Man :lol

is this the reboot? i just read Civil War last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Cap giving Iron Man the business, Spidey giving Iron Man the business. maaaaan! :smokin

currently reading the OG XMen. on like issue three now.
Not a reboot.

Just a story on the last world that is left. This story being about a Civil War that didn't end.

I mean surprisingly, there isn't much to talk about in the MCU. No one seems to care about AntMan and CW doesn't have much leak and the Spidey talk is just exhausting at this point. :lol

I care bout the man of ants.

We could speculate bout what Doc Strange gon be about and whether we'll see an infinity stone.

If anyone is interested in why he was fat and somehow transformed himself into the next big thing :lol

Pretty decent read, esp for GQ.

But as someone that's watched Parks and Rec from the beginning, after Zero Dark Thirty came out his role on the tv show diminished ALOT and I'm sure it had more to do with him picking up all these roles. He would go away for episodes at a time(they shipped him off to London for a job), and they poked fun at him losing weight alot as well :lol

I know I'm gonna get heat for this but...

I walked out of Jurassic World more satisfied then AoU.

I would say maybe a slight bit but a bit matters... I think it had to do with having 0 suprises in AoU and literally being on the edge of my seat in JW with a surprise at every corner.

Marvel take note stop spoiling 80% of the movie in trailers and over marketing. Sad part I expected to hate or not care much for JW because of the repetitive trailers but it worked they only showed 10% of the film and let the critics and #'s bring in the croud. Went to IMAX on a Monday night and it was packed almost sold out. With start wars coming out this will bump AOU down to 3 on my list this year.

Pratt needs to be the next Indiana Jones he's the modern action hero. Funny.. Charismatic for the chicks and a true badass. This and GOTG make him to 5 in my new actors list.

Ant man looks promising but again most of the GOOD action sequences are in the trailers. I think they will follow through with the comedy like GOTG. TI and the Spanish dude in the extended iMax trailer look like they will be funny supporting actors. TI has been priceless in all his cameos so far.

Why would you get heat for that? Mad Max made me forget all about AoU. AoU just didn't hold up to our expectations.

Funny cause I was gonna say AoU was kneck in kneck with Mad Maxx.. Sad thing is the cap films are getting better then the avengers films.

You guys really feel strongly about Mad Max, huh. Maybe I should've watched it when it came out..

As for AoU it was exactly what I expected. Some of you gas these Marvel movies too much. Im glad you see the light on Ant-Man. That way if it is good its a pleasant surprise.

I had high expectations of this movie (thought it would either be second or third best of the summer) and it blew even that away!

I dont know where you live (tho I thought you said LA once) but it is still in select theatres if you live in a big city you should find an opening no problem.

I should be able to find a showing. But if I'm going to watch in an empty room I might as well just wait till I can see it at home.

Lol, I live in NY

So far it's been a good summer for movies. AOU, Mad Max, and Jurassic World have all been good. (Also consider the latter two to be the better films)

I always will prefer a theatre room with people, sorry, sunshine..

Yea, the movies have been pretty good so far.

Lol, I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but the movie I probably enjoyed most was San Andreas so far

If I have to rate the summer movies I've seen so far..

1. San Andreas
2. Jurassic World
3. AoU
4. F7
5. Pitch Perfect 2
6. Tomorrowland

Too 4 are pretty close. Big drop off to number 6..

Empty theatre >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> hot room with fat, sweaty, smelly, sometimes loud people around you

Yup easily.. That why I try to go on a random day during the week after the movie has opened..

Or a non popular time.. I wanna enjoy the movie.. Not be distracted by who is in the room with me

Agreed. The people at the Thursday, 7pm showings I go to are usually very excited people and it's always good vibes in there. I've never had a problem with any disrespectful people and the room's always at a comfortable temp, so I've never had any complaints. Can't wait for Terminator in there.

Agreed. If I am extremely excited about the movie (like I am with most marvel movies) I will bare through it. Spectre is the only movie for the rest of the year where I might see it opening weekend. Everything else can wait a week or two if I dont bootleg it.

Jurassic park
Aou
San andreas
F7 was wildly outrageous but ight
Pp2 was bunz
Still gotta see mad max, anything else came out I should see ?
