WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

Dr Strange

Spiderman Homecoming

Thor Ragnarok

BP

BP is probably going to be the best.

Thor Ragnarok I think will be a gigantic leap in quality from the previous Thor movies.

Spiderman Homecoming I feel is going to be a huge hit critically. Not sure about money wise but it's going to be the kind of fun movie that'll get good word of mouth.

Dr Strange is so out there and the tone is so dark and the character is so obscure that it might fare the worst out of the four movies. But at worse, can't see it going to Thor 2 or IM3 levels. Got to think that Marvel got the quality control on lock.

Just for fun, going to guess:

Dr Strange 700k

Spiderman Homecoming: 850k

BP 880k

Thor Ragnarok 750k

I didnt like Thor 1 at all and never even bothered watching Thor 2. I love comic book flicks so much that I really dont give a damn what critics say about them, if it's a movie that I wanna see, then I'm gonna watch it. but I dont care about a solo Thor flick so whether I see Thor 3 or not is gonna heavily depend on the reviews it's getting

KingdomFlatbush I'm willing to rep bet you on Thor 3. I'll let you know the specifics when I get home.

You guys don't think cumberbatch will factor in heavy for Dr. Strange's numbers? I feel like it'll get views just off his star power/previous work

I mean it's cool and good if it does but that's one sequel late.

This is it, contract is up as far as Thor movies go. It's up in the air if there'll be another one.

What else does ya boy really got going though?

I need to watch Rush.. I'll check out the moby **** movie eventually.. Zero desire on those huntsman movies

Just hearing the writer on double toasted talking about dr strange got me hype

The trailer looks like batman begins mixed with inception and the matrix

I liked Thor 1 a lot.

Thor was lit!

Thor's speech when facing the executioner had me in my feels.

When he smiled and then got them hands...

Then all but died...

Then you hear Odin whisper the words...

Molinjor flying faster than Quicksilver could run...

And BAM!

I was like "LETS GO!" Lol

I mean he's a popular actor so i'm sure his fans will be willing to go see his film, but that could really be said for any popular actor. Wouldn't say that alone is going to get the film to say the billion dollar mark. Out of the upcoming films I think Strange could actually be something of a sleeper, the fame of which builds up by word of mouth more than anything else.

I think dude was trying to say that if it's a movie he's really looking forward to that no amount of bad reviews is going to dissuade him from seeing it.

In the case of Thor 3, which he's not really particularly looking forward to...this is not the case lol

That cast for Thor 3 is stellar! Definitely looking forward to it. I hope they go all out on this one. I'm glad Natalie Portman, kat Dennings, and earth will not be present in this film. Imo those characters kept Thor 2 from excelling. They could have axed those characters and devoted more time to developing Mallekt

Lowkey not thinking Doctor Strange will be great. It'll be decent.

I think it'll be somewhere around Incredible Hulk and the first Thor. Maybe slightly better but in that range. Might seem like an insult to some but I like both films.

Now you see me 2 is gonna kick Strange's *** lol (not really)
I'd bet money if we weren't talking opinions :lol

For one thing, the way I see it you're a bit all over the place. Incredible Hulk was a very good movie to me while the first Thor was very forgettable and really nothing to talk about. Mediocre and average at best comes to mind when I think of Thor.

No way Strange is Thor 2 or IM3 bad.

I dont think either movie is as bad as people wanna make them out to be. Doc just looks formulaic so far.
I got Strange being better than both those movies though.

I don't think IM3 is as terrible as most of those who hate it. I don't hate it. I don't even dislike it a great deal but I do know why it's a bad movie.

Dark World just had nothing to it overall. I think of that movie and think disappointment. More of the same one way and a let down the other. No need to put this back on Earth and tie-in Jane and Darcy. Then they just really let me down with Malekith. Seems the main point of the movie was to put another infinity stone in play and create more set up for Thanos.

I remember the main thing said coming out of Thor 2 was that if you took half (or parts) of the first Thor and half of Dark World you'd have a great Thor movie. I still feel that way.

:lol Its true he more than the rest would be available and willing but it's if Marvel and Feige gonna have room for him; Spidey, BP, Strange, Cap Marvel, Ant-Man, GotG, etc. A Thor 4 probably got only slightly better chances than the BW solo and that's as of now. The Ragnarok box office probably will really determine if they go forward with more Thor movies or just make him show up in Avengers and cameo in GotG.

The Incredible Hulk was one movie I don't play too often at all. Probably been years since I've seen it. Sometimes I forget it's even a part of the mcu.

Nothing about Doc Strange looks formulaic to me.

This whole it's an origin got y'all thinking this is yet another origin type movie. To me that's a fakeout, yall falling for the okey doke. I feel like this "origin" flick is gonna be so balls to the wall insane with how magic is depicted everybody gonna be coming back for seconds and thirds on some can't get enough steez.

It may be. It looks like it can be Marvel's best directed movie as far as cinematography goes, but the story seems formulaic based on the teaser. Hero with no powers, gets powers, fights bad guy, the end. Thats just how it seems. Another trailer may change that feeling.

Love The Incredible Hulk. Thor 1 and 2 were okay. Everything I've read and heard about Thor 3 has me really excited though. Really didn't like IM3. That's even without considering Mandaringate. It felt like a straight-to-TV Disney Channel movie whenever the kid was on screen. I get that kids watch these too and he's there to act as a surrogate, but it was wasted screen time. It wasn't even an Iron Man film. Tony uses a gun in his bootleg MacGuyver stint. So many inconsistencies. House Party protocol can't handle what Pepper can do with a forearm of one of Tony's suits. Weak adaption of Extremis and this guy is the worst villain in the MCU.

Never again.

Thor 2 was one of the biggest cinema disappointments of my life. That opening battle with Bor and Malekith and the lazy *** narration and the elves looking like Power Rangers monsters was trash.

The soundtrack was trash. The villain designs were trash. The plot was awful.

Even if by some miracle Ragnarok is good it'll be too little too late. There's no such thing as a good or memorable trilogy that is 2/3rds awful.

Didn't know Thor 2 was so hated. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Better than Thor 1 IMO
