Weird Ghost Foot On Bred 11

Anyone have or seen this problem? Any idea what this is, or how to clean it? 

These are straight from NDC.

Interesting. It might wipe right off with maybe some soapy water. I see similar marks where other objects are supposed to be like where the patent is supposed to end etc so it's probably just where it was originally supposed to be embroidered but the material got shifted at some point.

Ah I see now. I tried water, but didn't use soap so i'll try that soon. Thanks for your help!
