 It hurts!

HE STILL GOT IT FOR THE MOST PART , DOESNT REALLY HURT ....DUDES BEEN IN THE LEAUGE SINCE LIKE 96' AND WE IN 2010

He just needs to work on his low post game and he'll be in the league for awhile, like Jordan

Just signs of the imminent downfall of the Lakers

Kobe will retire, Phil Jackson will retire, and then who will save you then? Shannon Brown? Soon you guys will be just as irrelevant as the Warriors!

Really though, it's going to be a sad day when Kobe is done... I didn't grow up watching basketball so I never watched MJ play therefore Kobe's the best that I've ever seen.

60 years and you still waiting dude.........

It's never going to happen, we aren't like the Celtics, we may miss one year, and then we are back to competing.  It will ALWAYS be that way.  So get over it already.

if they do not sign a big name, best believe they are getting a top pick when they dont make the playoffs.kobe's mid-range game is so deadly, he really doesnt need to rely on his athleticism.

Dan Rooney is looking at you as well, he does it in a salary cap league....

Seriously though it is sad to see a great player begin to decline.  Age is undefeated though

ya'll ride to the death. i'm not sure if laker fans would be laker fans if kobe wasn't on the team

Mike's 95-96 season at the age of 32 > Kobe's 31 year-old life

and let me add that mikes last three years in a bulls uniform he was 32,33,and 34  and was EASILY the best player in the league.

Kobe wont be able to say that

he's def. not the best this season

and its debatable if he's even been the best the previous two seasons

kobes strugglin to get to the rim at age 31 while mike was still blowin by cats his last season for the bulls at age 34

Where my Chicago Bulls fans at? ahhhhh yes....

The # of Lakers fans will drop exponentially. It will separate the real from the fake. It shall be a great day.

Maybe it had to do with him being out of the league for two seasons...
