I'm still enjoying my '14 Moto X

I'm a bit concerned with Motorola's direction since they got bought out by Lenovo.. but if I had to buy a new phone today, it would probably be the 15 Moto X. I just love their enhancements to stock Android, plus the customization is a cool added feature to me.

The 6P would be another I consider, though. I'm probably going to be good until the next wave of phones this year, mine is still going strong.

My 6P been acting up like crazy.

 • Bluetooth issues (random disconnects with my car and headphones).
 • Phone freezes and lags out waaaay too often.
 • Apps crashing a lot

Making me consider trying out the iPhone (can't handle Samsung anymore), which is just a travesty in and of itself.

Halp

iPhone 6+ lags way more than my Edge Plus ever does

Can't speak on the 6P

I get no lag on my 6s+ , that's weird you're getting lag

Leaving safari and going back to the home screen stutters way too much for my taste after using the device for a day or so without a power cycle. Little bugs like going into a thread in messaging and not having the reply bar show up is an annoyance as well. iOS is not terrible at all but I think the days of calling it a "smoother" or "faster" experience than the top of the line android phones are dead and gone

You're doing yourself a disservice dropping the Note 5.

Not getting text messages again unless I receive or make a phone call... T-Mobile btw

Using textra, messenger or messaging app

If I switch to HSPA, then I receive them... Weird

Looking for the best wearable tech out right now for Android, any suggestions?

I think they are neck and neck in terms of smoothness and quickness. iOS is definitely not miles ahead like it was in the beginning

I feel like Android generally is zippier but more prone to stuttering while iphones are a bit slower but more consistent.

Marshmallow bros.

When you connect your phone to your computer, does it set it to "charging" as default?

Agreed. The eco system cannot be beat. But yeah whatever happened to team nexus? Hell. When did teams die off?

Android needs to flat out copy iMessage. And not just Android to Android. Have it connect with iPhones too. Basically all texts over data/wi-Fi are instant message.

Nexus appeal started declining once the started playing the change a new OEM every year game. Then after awhile people grow out of the whole root/rom game. It gets old, trust me I started it wth the OG Nexus which I still have btw. With the existing tech out now there's not much more to be done with smartphones save for a few gimmicks and incremental improvements to components like the camera. Is exactly why I still have my Note 4.

Is it safe to say that Samsung and Huawaei(sp?) were the best OEMs for the Nexus Line? Whats your opinion?

I'm personally not into rooting. It is pretty high maintenance.

The 6P is off the meat rack though.

Rooting is very high maintenance. Can't believe i used to flash ROMs re-sign in all of my apps. Reloaded apps. The whole 9 yards. Just to experience the "new phone effect".
