In certain areas of the US, T-Mobile will make a great profit from the new plans. In the long run, the average T-Mobile customer will save money, especially the ones who was waiting for the iPhone to be offered.

Me, personally, I'm wait until the S4 to come out to make my choice between the Note 2, iPhone 5 or the S4, since I'm leaving my mom's family plan this summer.

LOL great profits aren't made when consumers are saving money. Tmobile will be profitable and see subscriber growth maybe and they won't have anymore self churn wi people going prepaid but they won't do crazy numbers, and essentially this isn't much different than contract plans just making you think differently if that makes sense. Because we really don't know e details of the new credit system and how financing will work. Everyone isn't gonna be able to get the lowest finance down payment believe that.

This is common sense and the business model that T-mobile is banking on. It is also indirectly the same thinking Obama had when he championed that ghastly healthcare law. The problem is, if you don't grow your base enough to offset the "lost" revenue from pricing, you're screwed.

T-mobile may make it out alive, health care most certainly will not.

They don't have to care. Mobile phones are not and will never be a necessity in the grand scheme of things. Until we find out how much data a phone call amounts to we'll never know. Most people might say "To hell with LTE." though.

Has anyone tried Buzz Launcher? I've messed with it a bit, and it's really cool. You can have a ready made homescreen in seconds! It's like mylockscreen.com came to life.

If you roam over 300mb for 3 months in a row they terminate your contract

I was just booted off sprint myself ETF free and got to keep my old phone

im on that tmobile prepaid now 

please tell me how to force roam . im on a rooted g nex if matters

i'm kinda regretting getting a nexus 4 now

hspa+ is fast enough...

in the end it just depends what kind of phone user you are

i actually regret not getting a nexus 4 sometimes because i like vanilla android and customizing phones

Yea I had ADW EX on my G2, and I've been using it on the N4 with no problems. I did get Nova, and the speed is crazy on it!
I miss my old pal ADW though, so I may go back. I like having the options though.

Lol that equation isn't right though because the more people you have the more you must pay in keeping up your network so the profit would be the same or less unless tmo says to hell with upgrading the network after they are done. In certain markets tmobile has to pay carriers for roaming if I'm not mistaken tmobile makes 40 cents on every dollar of your plan. lowering your prices lowers your profit margins because you will still spend the same to maintain and need to spend more to upgrade/keep things gravy with the new congestion added from new customers

got slimrom loaded & the default kernel for that feels like its lacking. :\

Alchemist, seems like you're familiar with Google+... Got a question for you that others might want to know as well... If we delete the picture from our camera after its been uploaded is there a way that it will still save to the Google+ account... I've notice if I delete a picture it also disappears from my Google+ photos

Sorry for the late reply. I'm just seeing it now. The photos shouldn't delete it just stays in the private locker, I tried it my self and the photo stayed in my g+ account.

Same here. The private folder with photos from my old phone made their own folder in my new phone's gallery as well and I can quick access them without having to go into G+.

Just called Tmobile and switched to the new no contract plan. Saved $6 bucks a month and now have unlimited phone/text/data and no data slow down after 3GB. YES!!
