I must say.....I owned an Iphone for the last 5 years and was one of the biggest Android haters on this board....BUT I have officially made the switch to the Nexus 4 16gb and will probably not look back!

With that said, somebody school me so that I can make this transition as smooth as possible. Most seamless way to transfer music/photos from itunes/iphoto? Must have apps and widgets? Just overall little intricacies and idiosyncrasies that Android users have.

Thanks Brahs and will rep!

That should get you started. Props for leaving IOS for Android. Most Iphone users are too hardheaded to make the switch to Android :smokin

the thing is, I don't want the contract
I'm looking to buy the phone, but then get on that prepaid monthly 4G T-mobile has

i don't think retail on that phone is going to drop anytime soon. might as well find one on craigslist/ebay
but the lower the subsidies, the lower the market price should be
damn, okay :(

Do you guys use all of your homescreens? I been switching back and foward between wp and android and only 3 of them would be useful to me. Guess I just need to play with android more to find more widgets

I use 3. One for a clock, one for music, and the other for Flip Board/Music search

I have a feeling I would be the same if I got the Nexus 4 like I planned. I was using One S and I had my flipclock/weather on the main page, sense music on one, and sense calender on another. Maybe they should allow you to select a single screen function, not scrolling to them is one thing but not having there if you didn't need em would be great.

It’s been a while since we’ve had a major Android update  but it looks as though we may not have to wait too much longer. It seems that Android Police  got hold of documents fromQualcomm  (QCOM) earlier this week showing that next major version of Android, dubbed Key Lime Pie, will launch sometime this spring. Android Police  has since removed the leaked documents  at Qualcomm’s request, which could suggest the details contained within the document were accurate. Google  (GOOG) has scheduled its annual Google I/O conference for May 15th through the 17th this year, so that would seem like a perfect time to announce the next generation of its popular mobile operating system.

I started using Go SMS Pro for group messaging and haven't had any problems so far. Does anyone have any other suggestions or recommendations of an app better than Go SMS Pro?

I was looking for a weather app.
Nobody has really said in the thread that it was being used or that anyone actually uses it as a reference anymore........

Ill check it out
when at work later today i'll cook up the most needed apps for Android rookies.

I'm coming off of Gingerbread right now. Is Nova the IT launcher for 4.X+ Android?

I hope Key Lime will allow multiple apps to be ran on the same screen at once. When I had the N2 that joint was clutch. Need it for the N10

The Carbon Twitter client is live in the PlayStore. I wonder how it stacks up to the likes of Plume and Falcon Pro. I'm not using Falcon Pro and I haven't tested out Carbon yet, but with all the hype and anticipation, this better be good.

Repped, Thanks for the info. Once I find the correct configuration to make my android experience as smooth as wp I'll dump wp with the quickness. Especially since screen sizes and specs aren't even comparable between the two.

awesome wallpaper :hat

I was using Falcon Pro, but Carbon is amazing. It's so beautiful and smooth, it's lacking some of the features Falcon Pro have, but ti will get there with time.
