I'm getting it cause I need a phone and MOST of my stuff is through the cloud. I only wanted the 16 "just to have." I prob wont use all 8, but if I do, I'll sell it and cop the 16.
Judging by today, I'll get my money back and then some if I resell..

Nexus is hot because its cheap. At $500 your getting into off contract phone prices.

You know its going to be like 5 gb of free space right?

Yeah. I don't use that much space. My photos and music is in the cloud. I have a wifi hotspot with me at almost all times. I'm not worried about that to be honest. Like I said I just wanted the 16gb just to have it.

I think Google called it the Nexus 4 because there were only about 4 devices available on launch.

700

Google launching globally without the inventory to meet the demand for 1 territory. FAIL.

hopefully google comes out with a 32 gb since they severely dropped the ball on this one

The DNA is underwhelming, no expandable memory and what seems like a small battery (have to wait on reviews to see how good the battery life really is)
I'm passing on this though and still getting the Note 2...ever it ever releases

Samsung Note 2 is 650 off contract and 300 on contract.

Unless your on prepaid a contract phone is a better deal. Since you dont get a discount anyway.

All I get now is that notify me page. Does that mean its sold out?

Yepper. Sold out.

Got my confirmation receipt for the 8gig. I'm not getting my hopes up though until i see shipped.

This was probably the most unorganized, terribly thought out launch of something I've ever been a part of.

Thats the point of the Nexus 4 though. MOST of the buyers don't want contracts.

I know my bill within a year is going from $125 a month to $30 next month. Thats a HUGE difference.

T-mobile coverage isnt the same over the USA.

For instance I have LTE now on my Note 2. The Sprint service difference is night and day. My calls are clear where I used to get crazy distortion on my iPhone 4S.

I literally have 1 bar of signal and sound perfectly clear.

Cool but I leave the Philly area maybe once a year. That doesn't concern me. Most networks are fine in philly. I've had ATT, Sprint, Cricket/Sprint within the 2 years. All of them have been fine. No drops, full signals.

two 8 gigs or two 16s?
I would suggest you keep if you can afford it and resell.
Two 8gigs. I cant afford to take the risk. I put it on my card that I'm tryin g to pay down plus the profit really would only be Not really worth it. I need the cash today. I'm scuffing it really right now till next week.
