This video should clear the debate once and for all. All these early releases (at least from VMV INC) are indeed high grade fakes. People call them b-grades but theyre not. You should not be able to rip an upper from a midsole with your bare hands. The midsole should not significantly softer than the release version. And most importantly, the air bubble SHOULD NOT be flat as a pancake. Also, you wondered how Air Randy was able to fix his Concords when they had a clear toe? He used blue glue to give them an non-see through look. It's been proven that VMC INC. has sold fake Freddy Krugers, fake Ray Allens, and fake Concords. stay away from this site and be careful when dealing with these other early release sites such as Air-Randy.

add promoshoes, nysneakermall, sneakerfather, sds, marqueesole, rmkstore, mentalkicks, and osneaker to that list.

they all sell fakes, period. some of them MIGHT (big emphasis on might) have some older stuff that is legit. for example promoshoes might have some OG stuff thats real, but I don't know.....in this case one bad apple DOES spoil the bunch.
I myself bought 3 pairs from promo in the past and about 15-20 combined from vmv/rmkstore/mentalkicks....all that garbage is out, donated. I don't care to even get any of it legit checked, i washed my hands with the whole deal. I can breathe easy now.

Damn, a alot of you got taken for fools. This is what hype breeds. Just wait until release date or near. It's not that serious.

Everything he said leads me to believe these "early release" shoes began their life in an official Nike factory but somehow made it to another unathorized factory to be completed. The similarities in materials but diffrences in construction make me think that somebody might only be getting un-constructed materials and
building the shoes themselves in a diffrent facility. If the same workers were actually making "ER" and certifed pairs in the same factorys I would expect the glue to be applied in the same manner as the certified pairs.

Some way, some how they are getting their parts from Nike. The unfilled air bags are a dead giveaway. There is no reason for a fake manufacturer to spend the extra time and money on details nobody can see. If these shoes start out in a sanctioned Nike factory but make it out the door before completion; it would make perfect sense that an airbag exists but has not been filled because that is one of the last things to be done on the production line.

Side-note: I bought 2 pairs of CG XI from Footaction last year. One pair has red stamps under the insole and the other has blue stamps. Anyone know whats up with that ?

Hey bruh.. as a person who's been close to the situation the above statement is irresponsible to make when you don't know this for sure.
To lump them all into the same group isn't a responsible statement.

Just sayin...

never been much of an early release head, but this is pretty interesting. definitely wouldn't pick up my shoes from somewhere that isn't the actual store. maybe flight club. thanks for the vid though.

Dude said it himself same materials, same workers. So IMO they are authentic just poorly made. Since we are not over there we can only speculate how they get them. It's just dumb luck if you receive a-grade or b-grade pairs or a really bad pair that didn't even make the cut. I think the biggest gripe right now may be the price $100 over retail for a lesser value product, that just don't add up. I do wish Nike and/or JB would comment or something but it seems they're just ignoring it right maybe they would rather not give the publicity.

This information is useful for many reasons.  Being able to see visual documentation of what "non-authorized" pairs look like is a good thing for the sneaker community.
That said, not ALL early release seller's are that grimy, but those that are guilty of selling this type of shoe as "Authentic Nike" or whatever, SHOULD BE prosecuted and have their image / reputation put on blast.

More and more so each day, these "Legit Lists for websites" (as seen here on NT) are a very helpful tool and one of the best things about this forum.  PROPS to those that maintain it and look out for the sneaker buyers out there....especially the ones that are purchasing these "authentic" pairs thinking that they are the same ones from Footlocker (for example).

Thanks to OP and Thanks to ijapino for helping point out which websites are trust worthy, and which are not......

I know a lot of people say they are made by the same workers, in the same factories. I used to think this too, but the differences in construction and glue application lead me to believe the people producing these are not the same laborers Nike uses.

The materials are def from nike tho

I agree with both of you to an extent. The quality control at JB now is AWFUL though.
Thankfully I never got into buying shoes really early (by really early I mean months before release).  The most I have ever done is a week before release.

There is an inventory within Nike factories that they pay for and for some makeshift factories they have to fabricate their own materials so that leads to cheaper or just plain different glues and sueades and leathers used.
This just depends on where the shoes are produced...

One thing I found odd with the Video is that dude said he had bought from that site for YEARS.. but for the sake of this comparison all of a sudden the shoes smelled like glue..

Why had this comparison never been done before?

Ok lol maybe they're not made by the same workers. But then in that respect who cares I would just want to pay less for a lesser product. It's all in the materials if your using the same stuff but Nike didn't tell you to make them or even throw them ou means they're fake I think not. It's a business why would they only do shoes that are coming out and not just any shoe any color kind of situation. Theyre doing decent quality foamposites and even air jordan 2011. Not 1 of those sites had the yeezys and if they could just make pairs anytime who wouldn't. Capitalize on those of all shoes even the air mags. THEY'RE REAL JUST NOT WORTH WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING.

I have seen many shoes bought from early release sites and the difference in quality, given JB standards nowadays, is very minimal.  Excess glue found on early release pairs can be found on release day pairs.  Creases in leather when the shoe hasn't been worn has also been found in release day pair.  Fire Red IV's ring a bell?  In all honesty I don't care for early release shoes any more than I care for the release day pairs.

Mainly because the only person that cares is someone who has too much time on their hands and wants to inspect every detail of a shoe that probably hundreds if not thousands of people have.

The only time this matters is if the person is attempting to flip the product and not going to keep them.  Believe me when I say that no one outside of the sneaker community cares.
