It's Valentines Day. Every flower place is open. It's one of their biggest days of the year.

I think he means getting flowers delivered to peoples work places and most places like offices may be closed on Sundays.

Take her out for dinner and drinks/partying on Saturday night (Feb 13th). When the place you went to for drinks is shutting down (this will be around 2AM on Feb. 14th), tell her Happy Valentine's day--take her home or to a nice hotel, smash, breakfast/room service in bed, spend the actual V-day avoiding crowds and being in bed with her all day.
