This game is finally worth getting now. All they need to do is add in Cable and Commando and I'll be set now that Strider is in.

i didn't have a problem with sf4 getting new renditions because every version of sf4 to come out felt like a complete game from day 1. online was playable, lobbies were cool, and for the most part - every version has been decently balanced.
mvc3 on the other hand felt unfinished. lobbies were trash and it wasn't that great to play online. they should've at least given a free update to fix the online modes in vanilla marvel before announcing this.

Cause they know the fan boys will buy the same game over and over again.
They know by now what characters they should have on release date. They know how the online features should be on release date. They rather save all that for an "ultimate" edition. They don't care about their customers.

dr. strange and ghost rider are good new additions to the roster, although id rather have gambit, megaman, and some fighters from rival schools.
spectator mode should have been here from the very beginning

If this isn't available via DLC at a reasonable price, you ain't getting any more of my money. And I'm glad to see more people objecting to Capcom constantly adding adjectives before a game's title to make it sound like it's a new game. I hope that this game sells few copies just to show them that people won't stand for these ripoffs anymore. Although unfortunately it probably won't and I'm bound to meet some Capcom fanboy defending this reply to this post, like the computer "expert" who confronted me after I objected to them releasing Super SFIV as a separate game because it was "impossible" to add those characters as DLC. Impossible my %+%.

I agree with everything u said here, but every version of SF4 has NOT been balanced. U pretty much have five or six characters that dominate the game in every version... check the tournament results all across the country, it's always the same top tier characters winning with the exception of a few.

^yeah. they haven't been perfectly balanced seeing how there's a few 7-3 matchups in the mix with every version. that's why i said for the most part, they've been only just decent. vanilla was a solid first effort despite there being a few clearly OP characters(sagat
), super was on the right track, and AE dropped the ball a bit.
despite there being strong characters in each one, there's still a lot of variance in characters people are using at a high level. unlike mvc3 where almost every good team is using wolvie/akuma/sentinel/phoenix in one way or another.
pretty sure super top 8 for last years evo was 8 different characters and besides daigo winning NCR, i don't think a yun/yang/fei has won a big US tournament in AE yet. each versions balance hasn't been perfect, but you gotta admit it wasn't THAT bad in each game. there's definitely been worse.

You're either going to buy the game or not. If you don't like it, don't buy it. It's like hearing people complain about the quality of current Jordan retro's... Don't buy them. If you want to complain then write a letter to corporate. Otherwise, don't ruin what sounds like a great game for those who might enjoy it.

This game better not have the same !*%*#% netcode mvc3 has. The online lag is turrible. With the spectator mode being added, I hope they fix the netcode and make connections online better
