What would yall describe this series as, mystery, thriller, horror etc. Wondering if I should start this after catching up on Fargo.

I'm not sure you can classify it as any at IMO I'd say mostly mystery(especially if you start from the very first season), fanatasy/supernatural, suspense/thriller. My best attempt at a description, would be a dreamlike haze (like most Lynch stuff). It has a tendency to become very bizarre & abstract at any moment, then back to real life situations or vice versa. I can't think of anything to compare it to.

Twin Peaks is hypnotic. I have never had trouble describing shows to people on the fence but this is different. I always say if you can accept the 3rd episode of the OG series (Cooper's dream) then you'll be fine. That is where is I see the divide occurring for audiences.

So true, if it's anything like "The Return" err season 3 we gonna be waiting a looong time. I wonder if it's gonna be a movie, or more of a spinoff with some OG characters than an actual season 4. Either way nothing's even confirmed yet, so I'm not getting too excited yet. It did make me want to rewatch the series though. Guess Showtime's about to get at least a month's worth of money from me for now.
Something interesting I just read, October 6, 2014 they announced it was coming back. If something is coming, my money is on the 5 year mark. If so we'll know soon.
