Intent doesn't matter when it comes to if its a foul or not though. It's about protecting players in situations like that or at least it should be.

Yea they'd call it maybe at the Emirates but I see and get why they didn't. Ball was in the air and they both went for it at the same time, Alonso just had a running start. Accidents happen.

Morata is for the future. Chelsea will probably win this year but maybe not next year. Costa is gonna be on the decline of his career pretty soon so I think they're smart if they go that route. Or give Bashuayi his fair shot unstead of 30 second matches lol.
