I think a 4-4-2 would be better in that scenario for you guys or a 4-4-1-1 with him just behind Zlatan. Won't get the best out of Pogba in deeper role imo.
It would but Jose has never played with two strikers so I don't believe that will be an option for us. I think it will be either Griez as a 10 in a 4-2-3-1 or Griez out wide in a 4-3-3. Agree on Pogba currently although I think he can grow into a deeper role as he matures. He's so well rounded that he could do a job anywhere in midfield.
I see. And I agree Pogba has the ability he can grow into any role in the midfield.

Let me ask you this, if you guys do get Hot Line Bling this summer which it seems like you will do you think it was worth it to get Zlatan even if it was for a free? Cause it seems like Zlatan and Hot Line Bling in the same squad next season could cause lineup issues where you don't get the best out of some of the players to try to fit them all in as starters. Do you think it would have been better to not get Zlatan and just go this season with Rashford and Martial rotating up top for just this season get so you guys wouldn't have that lineup issue in the future?

it's your fault for hyping the f outta everyone you sign

Stop.

Januzaj was hyped by the media because he was the only player who even gave a damn on that squad, and he was a breathe of fresh air at United.

Memphis was RIGHTLY hyped. Came off the back of another amazing season (I'm not even goin to bother posting his stats before he came to United), and looked set for greatness. Unfortunately that did't translate into his new club.

Don't let Hakan Calhanoglu's lengthy suspension distract you that Man U is still in 6th place.

damn that's a hell of a banned hammer for hakan. who's gonna take the free kicks lol

Yeah but you're dying to be in our place then your own. 100 million down the drain. Pogba is the French Djemba-Djemba.

*it's happening Ron Paul gif*

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers have acquired Argentinian winger Sebastián Blanco as a Designated Player via transfer from Argentine Primera División side Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro, it was announced today. He will be added to the Timbers’ roster pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 visa

Filling in the blanks slowly but surely with potential game changing talent :hat

Yeah I think it was worth it because asking those young guys to lead the line for an entire season would have been a big ask. Zlatan was the perfect option because he's not going to be here for too long. By the time he's gone Martial should be ready to be a 20 goals a season striker.

I also could see Jose signing a striker in his prime and using Rashford out wide after Zlatan leaves with Martial being sold.

I think that these next 4 months are the most crucial to United in forever. If you guys don't finish top 4, I don't think you guys will be able to for a long time coming. FFP will cut your spending's, Adidas sponsorship is going to also be cut in half, and I only see the other top clubs, Chelsea, City, Pool, n Spurs getting stronger n stronger. I can't wait to see what Chelsea will be next season. Conte only had a chance to start working with the club late in the summer. Now he gets a whole summer to get the players he wants to go for a stronger run next season.

It will be hard to convince top talent with no CL or possibly no EL too

Just like United I'm sure these players have incentivized constracts with Nike/Adidas that reward them if play in CL/EL

i know it's a long shot but i kind of want united to make the champions league next year so we can wash the **** out of them again like we always do

I still love Mou but his formation preferences will hold him back. and it's not that he's too stubborn to change his ways I feel that its more of the world has changed their playing styles. Hull plays a 5-3-1-1 on the regular ( I did not see the game yesterday). plus they're at Old Trafford. There were times where it was decided we needed to get the most outta the managers when its now we need to get the most outta the players. Spurs started playing 3 back a few times with Rose and I think Walker in the mid. Madrid's last game with Sevilla was even a back 3. Of the games I've watched of ManU this season I have never seen Pogba with the same freedom in the mid like he did in Juve. I don't know where i'm going with this so I'll stop lol
