it will be interesting to see if pogba's fee would go up or down cause he sold for way too much.
like someone said he would need to produce a lot more goals to sell for more.

it's also a gamble in the locker room to pay someone that much money.  he demanded from barca and real wages that would rival their best players
and he's still unproven. that would rustle a lot of jimmies
united don't have any superstars so it worked

james is kind of in a similar situation where teams want him but nor for the inflated cost real madrid paid.
but james is in a worse position because teams aren't really sure what he's capable of. he never got a consistent chance

Man TBH I think James should just stay put. Ronnie on is way down and although I know he wants to be the main guy, James can come into that spot sooner than later at this point.

nah...james is low on the pecking order.

and the fact madrid have been looking at dybala and obama show they aren't worried about james.

imo he's good as gone.

Even if Ronnie's decline is in 2 years, 2 more seasons on the bench for James' prime years is a long time. And he'll remain there if RM get Dybala.

Arsenal plays Sutton is the next FA round. Good chance we might play with the same line up or a similar one from Saturday. Ox was great, one of his best performances as a Gunner. Having played at RB def help Maitland-Niles develop defensively. He held his position while Ox went forward and played a lot of one touch passes to keep the game flowing. For that game, that pair certainly clicked. Jeff made some slick passes and nice dribbles. He's fairly strong. Some people on Reddit compared him to Diaby and I see it. The youngsters def showed up.

I think this was the perfect game for Zelalem to come on from the bench. But he was loaned out. I know he's most likely going to Holland because of Jonker's contacts there but I feel that he should be going to Ligue 2, Bundesliga 2, or even the Championship. I hope he can get a good amount of PT.

Akpom is going to Brighton on loan. I think if he doesn't make it this season, it might be his time to move onto a different club. Bennacer is going to Tours on loan. French is such a good place to develop youth wether it be Ligue 1 or 2. Word is that Belik will be going out on loan. I would like to see another one of our strikers go out on loan.

Leon Bailey has completed a move to Germany with Bayer Leverkusen! His contract will keep him with the Bundesliga side until 2022.

No disrespect to Sutton's number 1 but I really need their backup to play in that game

The reason why I can't accept any slander of any "open" domestic cup in the world, regardless of country of origin.

The open tournament competition format is one of the greatest things in the history of sport. Winning an open cup will always have value and meaning. :hat

Dortmund already 14 pts behind Bayern, really thought they would compete for the title this season.
I didn't.

We had to replace 2 1/2 key players whereas Bayern kept their squad together and was able to add Hummels.

I'd say our domestic season has been slightly disappointing so far but it's nothing unexpected. If we get another year with this squad plus Toprak and maybe Dahoud (or some comparable midfielder) we'll probably manage to be Bayern's competition next season. But as things go we'll probably have to replace Aubameyang this summer...

On a completely different note, it seems ridiculous to me to compare Pogba's goalscoring to people like Maradona (probably the best there ever was) and Matthäus in their prime. First of all, they played much further up the pitch for a lot of their career. Second of all, Pogba will still improve in many regards. As for the price tag, I'll reserve judgement of whether he was worth that money until he leaves United.

How on earth can be he be called a professional footballer?
Him playing is probably the closest thing to literally "parking the bus"...

Wow, where's all the hate for Liverpool and Spurs coming from?
If thats an online pole I think it's a safe bet the hate for Liverpool is from United fans flooding the poles and for Spurs Arsenal fans flooding the poles.

:rollin I ain't eem mad.

It's a topsy turvy game. One injury and you're out. Get paid while you can.

Best thing I read this morning Llorente & Vallejo will be in the squad next season, Llorente will challenge Case for CDM spot, Llorente will potentially be the 3rd CB depending on they do with Nacho, hope they keep him around, good utility guy, doesn't provide much in attack but a solid defender

Any rumors on pool moving Sturridge? heard west ham maybe?
I think he is the one big name that could make an impact for a team if he is moved

Side bar: Been saying it for a bit but great to see Sane break into the City starting line up. The kid is needed on that team. Directness and speed and no fear to take players on. He is a joy to watch. Perfect willing runner for KDB to send those long balls too
