I don't think so...
Do non-Mexican clubs ever win this competition?
MLS clubs need to step it up then

Man I'm excited to see what Atlanta brings to MLS
Minnesota too
Also, anyone up for MLS fantasy??
Tigres will win itTigres vs Pachuca finals confirmed. Got my money on Tigres.
I know I'm back tracking quoting this but got damn what a rocket from like 40 yds outDidn't see what happened to Torres but based off what everyone is saying it must have looked pretty nasty glad he's well.

For those that didn't see Griezmann's goal

Nope, MLS team has only made the final twice since 08
Hope y'all start a run of sellout games too. Not sure how many teams sell out seasons at a time (other than PDX and the wildings of the north), but it'd be cool if a team in the south could do it too.
Everything looks good so hopefully the team plays like it on Sunday . I just wish the new stadium was done and the home opener could be there but either way its exciting.
I mean, some of the blame is on the MLS season schedule not matching up with the rest of the worldNope, MLS team has only made the final twice since 08Do non-Mexican clubs ever win this competition?
I think I'm just more excited to see what Miguel Ibarra and Christian Ramerez does at the MLS level (Ibarra showed flashes at Leon but never really latched on).... I hope Minnesota succeeds in growing that fan base, it'd be cool. Was in Atlanta this past week and saw a ton of billboards for the team. I see them being similar to Orlando City from last year. I don't have much for expectations for Minnesota tho and apparently neither does Adidas given how weak of kits they got...Man I'm excited to see what Atlanta brings to MLS
Minnesota tooI'd be in. Is it like EPL fantasy where it's salary cap based or like fantasy football with a draft and whatnot? Also, anyone up for MLS fantasy??
:x :x :x
So they're essentially the same as Mexican clubs in the Copa Libertadores?

Fixed. No one won that game, one team just managed to lose less than the other.:x :x :x
Trash jerseys for a trash club that won* the MLS Cup with no shots on target.

MLS can't compete in the fall with NFL...yet.
Eliminating the group stage and replacing it with a new playoff phase for teams in smaller countries will help prevent MLS and Liga MX teams from being hit with group games in the latter half of the calendar year. That is a benefit, but it’s a small one given that the biggest problem – knockout games during MLS preseason – remains. MLS can’t change its own schedule because many of its northeast and midwest markets experience freezing cold weather in the winter.
In a country of 330 million MLS doesn't need to compete with the NFL.
If MLS grows in status to the point where it rivals the NHL, then financially it would be on par with the EPL.
Think about that for a second.
