The Wizards are the only additional team in the East and they are already 5.5 GB of the 8th seed so if they get that within 4GB does that mean there is a best of 3 series for the 8-seed?

If I’m interpreting this correctly, in the West as long as the 9th seed is within 4 games then seeds 10-13 have a chance at the playoffs?
