Bron going to the heat was good for the NBA imo. Made things so interesting. The Show was fresh off 3 finals, but we're worn down from it and needed to recoup. Boston run was done. Guys were like 34-35.

There was nobody else. Spurs were the spurs, but outside of the flawless '14 run, they were dry *** play.

Miami brought so much excitement. Not just for their fans, but for us rooting against them. They were legit Darth Vader. (Which is perfect since they played the Imperial March theme when he first returned to Cleveland. And the heat wore black. Then Bron proceeded to talk **** and beat the blood out of his old team and coach. Was a goat moment for a fan of hoops and sports entertainment. )

They gave us a common enemy. It brought us together. Miami was so good, any body that joined caught smoke. Had us hating on top 10 Mario Chalmers for like 4 yrs for no reason lmaooo. I legit talked **** about Norris Cole. Norris Cole man. That's how real it was lmaoooo. What a time. NBA was great at that moment. Because while the heat were amazing. After 11, you saw that they weren't quite as scary or unfair as you previously thought. And them winning wasn't a foregone conclusion.

They duffed 11....was handed 12, that should've been kd's first. Then he never would've gone to gsw (God works in mysterious...nvm...😂😂). Kawhi chocked 13 and Pop was senile taking TD out.

They could've technically left with No rings. Would've been tragic and amazing :lol.

But they linked up, hit the finals 4 straight, took 2. And escaped major injuries. That's a successful run. I'm happy it happened.

4 Straight Finals
2 CHampionships

Sure the DAL series was a disappointing showing for LeBron, but HELL no it wasn't a disappointment.

I know you are big on semantics and a disappointment is defined as a “sadness or displeasure caused by the nonfulfillment of one's hopes or expectations.

Four straight Finals is impressive as hell and three-peating is difficult but that Heat team winning two out of four was a disappointment based on the expectations LeBron set. For example, he said in 2014 that he wanted to “Bring one home to the Land” and despite going 1/4 (I know - injuries in 2015 and Super Villians in 2017/2018), I wouldn’t call that a disappointment.

He was the best player in the world, set the bar for that team and didn’t reach it. I think it can still be considered a great run that wasn’t completely fulfilling.

We can agree to disagree. I don't view it as a disappointment by any stretch.

I don't look at what he SAID as what the bar should be. That goofy press conference they had was just sizzle, it was a fun event. I am not taking what they said seriously.

4 FInals Appearance in 4 Years
2 Rings.

Not a disappointment in any form of reality.

I respect that. One quick, final question on the topic to the point that lovehateself lovehateself made - do you think LeBron might consider it a disappointment? He might have even spoken on this but I couldn’t find anything.

 I honestly have no idea what he thinks on the topic.

But considering he was ring-less before the situation, and he got 2 out of the situation, there is a good chance he says NOT a disappointment.

He had a opportunity to sign with the Clippers or Lakers. Don’t see why he’s signing with the bubble Nets
